...It turns out the Senate Judiciary Committee also has a memo on Christopher Steele, the FBI and Russia dossier they are working to declassify. Their memo is set to be released including FBI redactions shortly....

As previously reported, GOP Lawmakers are seeking to make the case that the Mueller investigation and the FBI probe into Trump’s campaign was based on potentially tainted and flawed evidence connected to Hillary Clinton, says John Solomon of The Hill.
Solomon’s report revealed part of the investigation includes an eight page criminal referral filed with the DOJ by Grassley and Graham:

There is money involved. The memo says Steele was paid 160k. Was he transparent in the pay, or was it funneled illegally to him? Was money laundering used in this?
Perkins Coie the law firm, were they transparent on payments, or was the billing a cover up job like Enron?

The Senate was intended to be the equivalent of the House of Lords, the House the House of Commons and the Executive the King. This is the intention from the beginning.

The FISA judge gave thenm a good tongue lashing in that 99 page opinion from April 2017. Went on to say there was no fourth amendment violation. No harm, no foul, but don’t do it again sort of thing.

If that is the case, and the FBI used the Dossier as part of the application, that judge should be furious. Actually, it would appear the judge may be either compromised or stupid beyond belief.
The SCOTUS needs to be calling him in for an interview.

I think the explanation is Title 1 vs Title 7...The fine print. Title 1 appears to confer wider powers...ability to track contacts and contacts of contacts. Not certain, but it makes sense.

Sessions was the first man in the Senate to support Trump when no one else took him seriously. There is no ill-will towards Trump in him.
Any indictments or trials should not come until the Summer so they will be in the headlines prior to the Mid-terms. These scandals should destroy the Democrats even if it is not proceeding as per your hopes.
And on a practical level, the judge has no way to know that the DOJ is lying to him. He has "certified statements" from the top dogs that all is on the up and up. The DOJ/FBI learned long ago how to pattern the warrant requests so as to get past the judge; and the judges are pleased that the FBI/DOJ is following the pattern dictated by the judge. On paper, everythig is sworn true and fits the pattern. It's bulletproof, on paper.
SCOTUS doesn't care. This is petty political crap. SCOTUS has major social engineering projects on its plate.
