The Post further reported, “They toured the old hotel where the writer Ernest Hemingway once stayed and visited a voodoo high priest dressed in all white.” The article does not say why they visited the voodoo high priest.

Good question. I once bought a abandoned Catholic Church. Part of the contract was that the church remove the blessing from the building. A priest showed on the day of closing and went through a short Latin ceremony and said it was done. I took him at his word. I agree. Doubt seriously that Melania opened her heart and mouth to Pastor Begly, and besides if Melania is a practicing Catholic (Lord knows we have all kinds) it seems to me that we would be hearing about a Catholic priest actually performing a Catholic exorcism, and not of “people” throughout the house. Just an observation, as I have no clue of anything to do with this story.

President Trump, however, was very close to Protestants and charismatics and made abiding friendships with many pastors. It is no surprise these new friends and others would offer to bless their new home in the White House and the Trump’s would permit it and would be most grateful for it.
