President Donald Trump quickly signed the Congressional two-year spending deal on Friday, just hours after it passed the House of Representatives in an early morning vote. Just signed Bill, Trump announced on Twitter. Our Military will now be stronger than ever before.
The president focused on the big boost to military spending as a win for Republicans.
We love and need our Military and gave them everything and more, he wrote. First time this has happened in a long time. Also means JOBS, JOBS, JOBS!
The Republican budget deal with Democrats raises spending by $300 billion roughly $165 billion in military spending and $131 billion to domestic spending. The bill also offers $90 billion in hurricane relief for Texas, Florida, and Puerto Rico.
Trump acknowledged that the bill was expensive, but appeared to accept it as part of the dealmaking process. He urged Americans to vote for more Republicans in 2018.

Not perfect.
But the bill got rid of the idiotic Obama sequester strangling our military.
Now we can rebuild it.
Aren’t all spending bills bloated?
Is there somewhere to actually see the entire bill? Does anyone actually know everything in it?
It’s only money. Our kids and grandkids money that is ...
Just because Schumer gives Trump $138 Billion to spend does not mean Trump has to spend it. Sounds like Pelosi woke up to this fact a couple days ago.
Should have vetoed. May lose mid-terms and Presidents re-election now in doubt. Sad, if that is the result.
Obama never had a budget for his first four years...only continuing resolutions. His final budget strangled future budgets.
It is like the CFPB. The Rats thought they were being slippery by funding it fro the Fed. What happens to the money if Trump does not spend it?
Like I said last night, if someone showed me a pain-free way to smaller government, I’d be all for it.
No such animal.
Why? So they can vote for ever increasing spending too?
Sometimes the cost of victory is high, but not necessarily Pyrrhic. The proof will be in how the spending increase is managed by the executive branch. Just because the money is appropriated, doesn’t require that it be spent. Further, there has been no accounting for the expected economic growth.
Until we get more Trumpian Republicans into Congress and get rid of Rinos and Rats, we are going to have to bribe them to get bills passed.
I do not understand these Principled Conservatives who live in their own little bubbles and blame the Republicans in Congress for what these PCs helped create by sitting on their damned hands because the candidate in the general wasnt perfect to their demands.
I am glad we are now going to be rebuilding our military. If you look at the tax revenues as the tax bill takes effect and the economy ignites, you will see something. Economics is a dynamic creature, unless you are a liberal.

As well as the controls on domestic spending. Now Congress can run up the deficit on both tracks.
Sorry about the triple post...my iPad has a mind of its own.
There’s a reason McConnell wanted it out of the way until after the mid-terms.
This is the best deal the GOP could get for now.
Any one who thought Democrats would accept major spending reductions were fooling themselves.
Politics above all, is the art of the possible. Trump recognized that too, when he signed the bill.
Nasty Pig-lousy was heard muttering, “We have to pass the bill to see what’s in it.” as she voted NO.
Worried about her mental state.....
NO WALL, NO PEACE
