There are 14 on this list published as of 02/05/2018, with the most recent shooting on this list being February 1. Not too hard to make 18 from there over the last two weeks if trends continued.
This one today would make number 15 on the list, I bet there are three more out there since February 1.

And a few suicides.
And a few that were only tangentially school related.
i’ve read most of those are BS- not school shootings but plain old arguments between people counted as shcool shootings..
Shooting up a school is, thanks to the media and politics, the “best” and easiest way for a kid craving attention to get it.
Used to be, kids would just become the class clown.
Student who attended a “special” school with him before said “he has always been a troubled kid.” This is likely true if he in his 20s, as reported.
