George and Amal Clooney have announced they will donate $500,000 to the upcoming student march for gun control. Although the event is officially titled “March for Our Lives,” Buzzfeed reported that student organizers admit it is about pushing gun control:
George told People magazine that they are donating the half-million dollars in honor of his eight-month-old twins, Ella and Alexander.
He said:
Amal and I are so inspired by the courage and eloquence of these young men and women from Stoneman Douglas High School. Our family will be there on March 24 to stand side by side with this incredible generation of young people from all over the country, and in the name of our children Ella and Alexander, we’re donating $500,000 to help pay for this groundbreaking event.

I think the FIRST gun control law should be to remove celebrities rights to have their body guards carry guns.

Waiting for Clooney to issue a press release saying he is moving out of his gated community and giving up his armed security detail.
Not too long ago Clooney did announce he was leaving his home in Europe because he said it was unsafe.
Look for much, much more of this. Liberals and especially the corrupt MSM will be lavishing and heap praise upon these “brave” protesting kids. These “courageous” children, these remarkable kids, showing everyone the way forward. You watch.
The organizers will quickly skim the cash for expenses such as new cars, some jewelry, etc.

Well, I heard, anyway, that if you’ve seen Juan, you’ve seen Amal.
Until Clooney publicly commits himself to personally being a gun-free zone, then all else he says on the matter is nothing more than virtue signaling.
