Dividing Americans by escalating the political conflict also escalates the crisis that justifies the censorship. The NFL protests, Antifa violence, shootings and riots all maintain the sense of urgency. As society explodes, the need to limit the divisive content increases. Once again, the left creates a crisis and then imposes restrictions on its political opponents to resolve the crisis that it created.
The companies have already shown their true intentions-—they need to be broken up into a thousand pieces.
Its a plot against our election, not by the Russians, but by the left. Its a plot against freedom of speech, not by the Russians, but by the left.
The plotters took a Russian propaganda and influence operation and turned it into a pretext for the greatest assault on democracy and freedom in American history.
'The plotters' are an organized group - and they're (for the most part) invisible. Michael Moore is in the open... he's one of the few we can see at this point.

Thanks for the ping. Always interesting.
According to the evolutionary psychologists, thinking is an evolutionary advantage, but it comes at the high cost of using up a lot of energy.
Since food is often scarce, the body is designed to store, not waste, energy,
As such, most of our thinking generally consists of previously worked out shortcuts: the quick assumptions and commonly used subroutines that get us through the day with our brains just moseying along.
Critical thinking is a learned skill. If were not curious and/or have a low survival instinct, we learn no more than we absolutely have to. We are often emotionally based decision makers who can be easily startled and manipulated by our emotions, if the right buttons are pushed.
For example, Sales 101: First get the prospects shields down and them in agreement with you by ramping up their emotions about an ongoing problem or need they have so that it is felt as a crisis that must be solved NOW, and then present a solution.
If you or they dont have a crisis, then create one by constantly reminding prospective clients of the potential crisis/crises in their lives that you can solve, just like the termite/bug control guy did just now on the local radio commercial I just heard.
Thats what good people do. But if youre evil, you can create a crisis that must be solved with a situationally appropriate, human-caused disaster that you set into motion, and then blame on and use against your enemies.
Push the right buttons and we are easily played. You really can fool all the people sometimes and some people all of the time.
Youre a misogynist! ;-)
No, no, no, I dont think so...well, okay maybe sometimes, but only on a case by case basis, right? So no, not really, but you know, I guess I am still single. Hmmm...

Great words ........ and thank you as always for the ping.
"The Reichstag fire of internet censorship" .......... I WILL REMEMBER THAT!
War is coming...........
The “curating” was managed by pressuring Facebook, Google and others to embed a middle layer of lefty non-profits, from media fact checkers to activist groups like the Southern Poverty Law Center, to determine what belonged and who didnt belong on their services. The middle curation layer would promote trustworthiness and curtail “divisiveness”: Orwellian euphemisms for political censorship.
This middle layer allowed Google and Facebook to outsource censorship by curation to trustworthy organizations. Or at least those organizations considered trustworthy by the left. The same media echo chamber which had manufactured the speech crisis had put itself in charge of imposing the solution.
I am serious - the company should be charged with engaging in monopolistic behavior under the Sherman Antitrust Act, and broken up into numerous smaller companies.
Ditto for the media giants - allowing media companies to buy one another to the extent that we essentially have only 5 or 7 big conglomerates determining 90%+ of what Americans see or hear regarding the news is simply unacceptable. Break them up, too.
Placemark.
it was a reference from the character Freewheelin’ Franklin about the Marinus van der Lubbe International Firebombing Society.
You have it. I thought that he had just made up the name. Forty years later I learn he did not. ‘shrug’
When I was just into my teens, getting one’s little grubbies on some underground “comix” was a rite of passage.

Parts of that could have been forklifted out of Alinsky's Rules for Radicals. I despise and detest Alinsky's approach not because the implications regarding human behavior are or are not true, it is the deliberate targeting and manipulation of that behavior using active deception and outright lying that I despise. You make good points.
Gaaahhh. There is SOOO much wrong with that statement, beginning with "seasoned experts" and it all goes downhill from there. The concept is part and parcel of these things we see from Google and YouTube, except thatMakes my stomach turn.
The endeavor is funded by the Omidyar Network...created by Pierre Omidyar (of Iranian extraction, founder of eBay) and his wife, who sound like a couple of major league Leftists. Looking at it...Far, Far Leftists.
I agree. And ^that^ now has full access to and control over our school system from kindergarten through grad school, the now one-stream news media, much of our social media and almost all of our network programming!
So, its easy to understand how their malware has infected our American Operating System.
Our American OSs registry, lookup tables, definitions, etc. have all been redefined, diluted and polluted to such an extent that we dont know who we are and about half of US hate who we think we are.
Talk about delusion! Dear God, please help US all.
This is often attributed to Stalin, but whoever said it, its dead on accurate:
"America is like a healthy body and its resistance is threefold: its patriotism, its morality, and its spiritual life.If that was the Soviets and American progressives Cold War strategy for the 1950s, 60s and 70s, it has been a stunning success.
If we can undermine these three areas, America will collapse from within."
~ Joseph Stalin?
"The American people will never knowingly adopt Socialism. And here we are.
But under the name of "liberalism" they will adopt every fragment of the Socialist program,
until one day America will be a Socialist nation, without knowing how it happened."
--Norman Thomas, longtime U.S. Socialist Presidential candidate
LOL, you aren't a database admin are you???
That post certainly wasn't an encouraging read...
I agree the internet monopolies are illegaly using their power to silence conservative speech and thought on the internet. If they are successful it will be the end of freedom of speech for generations.
Google and Facebook must be broken up and and subjective to lawsuits for discrimination claiming to be a public platform.
Platforms can eyther claim responsabilty for their user content and censor or delcare themselves public plarform leaving that responsible to the person who made it.
Having it both ways is both unfair and dishonest to everyone.
Google and Facebook depend upon being public less their buiness model would bankrupt them with copywrite suits.
I started reading some of those Freak Brothers comics last night. Laughed myself silly and then looked at the clock. oops.
