Just when you thought your TV might have become a Hogg-free zone . . .
Tuning in CNN this morning, there was David Hogg. Again. And the Parkland survivor-turned-gun-control-activist made one thing clear: he has no use for the Second Amendment. Hogg accused the NRA of liking to “hide behind the Second Amendment and say this is our constitutional right. We’re Americans.” Well, yeah: you nailed, it, David!
A bit later, David really gave away his game. Hogg praised countries like Sweden, where gun ownership is treated “as a privilege, rather than a right.”
At least for now, I’m able to “hide behind” the First Amendment in critiquing Hogg. Could treating free speech “as a privilege rather than a right” be next on the liberals’ list?
Note: give host Alisyn Camerota some credit. Although her voice was filled with skepticism about what “they,” the NRA, would say, she did raise the counter-argument to banning AR-15s — that it would put the “good guys” at a disadvantage in defending themselves.
Yet, here we are...

Who gets to decide who has the privilege? A corrupt federal agency?
Everyone with ‘White Privilege’ automatically has the right to own a gun.
I knew that privilege would come in handy.
No, that’ll be the one exception. You’ll have to be 35 to get a driver’s license or buy smokes, but you can vote at 12.
Why don't we restrict opiod use until age 60, that would solve the crisis. Am I the only one thinking this rationally? :)
The second amendment grants us nothing. The right to defend ones self is a natural right. The constitution recognizes that right and prevents the government from infringing upon it.
THAT is the part these 90% of the people do not get.
Why would anyone care what any child or adult thinks who is arguing that our constitutional rights be taken away? Find another solution that doesn’t involve the impairment or termination of the rights of law-abiding Americans.
Just think little boss hogg, if speech was a privilege and not a right, we would never have to listen to socialist retards like you and your comrades. Like I have said before, if you don’t like all the freedoms America affords it’s citizens, please go to one of the countries that don’t have them instead of trying to take them from Americans.

I wonder if that isn't because Hogg is obviously far too in love with the sound of his own voice and far too happy to blow the "no one is coming for your guns" narrative the press tries to falsely peddle.
