A Turkish newspaper close to President Recep Tayyip Erdogan and his ruling party is urging 57 Islamic nations to build a joint army specifically to attack Israel, notes a new report in Joseph Farah’s G2 Bulletin.
The Middle East Media Research Institute reports the article appeared on the paper’s website under the title “What If an Army of Islam Was Formed against Israel?”
It was published shortly ahead of a summit of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation, which has 57 members, MEMRI reported.
The article notes, MEMRI said, “that such a joint army will greatly exceed the Israeli army in manpower, equipment and budget, and presents statistics to prove this.”
“It also advocates establishing joint bases for the army’s ground, air and naval forces that will arrive from all over the Muslim world to besiege Israel, while noting that Pakistan, as the only nuclear country, has ‘a special status’ among the OIC countries,” the report said.
MEMRI explained that many of the major points in the newspaper article were “taken from the website of the Turkish SADAT International Defense and Consulting Company, which provides consultancy on defense and warfare, both conventional and unconventional, and on military organization, training and gear.”

I hope that Israel would survive such an unprovoked mass attack . . . and that civilization's enemies would not.
Strategically, Israel's long-range missiles, nuclear-capable aircraft, and possibly its submarines present an effective second strike deterrence against unconventional and conventional attack, and if Israel's defences fail and its population centers are threatened, the Samson Option, an all-out attack against an adversary, would be employed. Its nuclear arsenal can also be used tactically to destroy military units on the battlefield.
Quite an array of Israeli options, employing suitcase bombs, artillery pieces, submarine launched missiles, EMP bombs, ICBMs with Mirvs, neutron bombs and nuclear land mines, all of which the Israelis have on hand. Supposedly, they have hidden nukes deployed at the Golan Heights and the Sinai in order to destroy an attacking enemy army on land.

Absolutely. That is why the nations mentioned in Psalm 83 are not going anywhere near Israel. I read the “spooky” stories about battles that miraculously went nowhere. Why they haven’t all converted after the God of the Jews beat them like a rented mule, I cannot fathom, but all in His good time.

There is little doubt in my mind, should push come to shove and Israel feels its back is to the wall that they will use whatever they have available including nuclear weapons and I don’t blame them if they do. Matter of fact I would welcome it if they finally would put and end to all this crap.
I think that slipped by most people way back when...I caught it...Obama was considering his allegiance to the 57 states while speaking of America...He just got them mixed up for a second...Obama's group has 57 states...
