Vox: Comey's 'Damning Admission' that Polls Influenced His Hillary Email Probe
Newsbusters ^ | April 13, 2018 | P.J. Gladnick

Not all liberal media outlets are giving favorable coverage to former FBI Director James Comey's new book, A Higher Loyalty. One such media source is Vox which reminds its readers about why most liberals were clamoring for Comey to be fired...right up to the moment when President Donald Trump actually did fire him.

The reason for Vox writer Matthew Yglesias's ire towards Comey in his April 13 article is that Comey admitted in his book that he believed the polls that predicted Hillary Clinton was certain to win the 2016 election so he figured his re-opening of the probe into her email shortly before the election would have no effect on the outcome. Yglesias also admitted that he also believed Hillary was certain to win and provided a link to his November 7, 2016 article a day before the election that in retrospect is quite funny to read.

An upset Yglesias reveals the "damning admission" in James Comey admits that his read of the polls may have influenced his handling of the Clinton email probe:

James Comey was suckered into believing the poll predictions about Hillary's "inevitable" win.

Because his job was to let people get away with criminal activity if their poll numbers are good.

Pinning it on polls. Snort. This is a modified limited hangout. He’d rather blame the polls than have you look for the people holding his leash.

When he thought she was going to win, he knew he had better not cross her. Cuz people die around the clintons.

Comey admitted in his book that he believed the polls that predicted Hillary Clinton was certain to win the 2016 election so he figured his re-opening of the probe into her email shortly before the election would have no effect on the outcome.

In other words: He used his Government salary and Millions of Dollars in TAXPAYER FUNDS to make in "Illegal In Kind Contribution" to Hillary Clinton's Presidential Campaign.

I have a couple of comments:

* I’m pleased that he has succeeded in exposing how corrupt he is, and that some in both swamp parties have come to despise and distrust him. He deserves it.

* F*** the polls! They should have absolutely no bearing on law enforcement issues. Comey has disgraced himself and the FBI.

Comey had some previous sweetheart deals at Lockheed-Martin, RBC, and a Clintoon Foundation.

"David Kaczynski had once admired and emulated his older brother, but later decided to leave the survivalist lifestyle behind.[109]

He had received assurances from the FBI that he would remain anonymous and that his brother would not learn who had turned him in, but his identity was leaked to CBS News in early April 1996.

CBS anchorman Dan Rather called FBI director Louis Freeh, who requested 24 hours before CBS broke the story on the evening news.

The FBI scrambled to finish the search warrant and have it issued by a federal judge in Montana; afterwards, an internal leak investigation was conducted by the FBI, but the source of the leak was never identified.[" Meet the Old Boss...

I always thought that the reason that Comey reopened the “investigation” was to try to quell the on-going suspicions about Hillary’s use of personal (not government) computers to pass around classified information. I think his calculus was that by bringing the email issue front and center, and then publicly exonerating her just ahead of the election, he could boost her chances at winning. Of course, he was not taking into consideration the members of the general public who have experience with classified information and who know the proper ways to safeguard it.

Comey May have believed the polls, or that the fix was in.

However, he would not have announced the reopening of any investigation into Clinton without the permission from the Clinton crime family.

I think they all thought the fix was in, and comey, while continuing to cover up , would plausibly be seen as independent- based on this move.

They did not account for adm Rogers- and Soros servers being aced out.

And it’s the same reason Bronco Bama, Lynch,Yates, Comey and McCabe conspired to cover up and excuse Hillary’s repeated felonies in the Server, emails and destruction of evidence earlier that year

My thought, too. And the investigation would have faded away, just like Benghazi.

So... what polls was he reading when months earlier he started drafting the memo that exonerated her.... before she was interviewed?

A Higher Loyalty? Yeah, above all he is loyal to himself.
