“Yes and Un-American. And on it’s face totally incompatible with the U.S. Constitution.”

1st, I have Muslim friends. None of them are Islamists.

The Quran specifies Sharia Law. (one interpretation)

The U.S. Constitution is the highest law in the US. Not the Quran or Sharia Law.

The U.S. constitution does not allow the “Establishment” of a State Religion.

But it does not protect those who would overthrow the U.S. Government in the name of their religion.

The Quran if taken literally prescribes overthrow of all other laws. Hence it is incompatible with the U.S. Constitution.

PERIOD.

Good for you.

There are no “other” interpretations of the Koran allowed by its very nature.

At the end of the day, the question is one of where their loyalty lies.

Sharia?

Their foundations require nothing less, unless they need to lie in order to advance their objective.

There is NO compromise.

Unless, it’s you that compromises.
