Pope Francis says he has thought about when it might be time to "take leave" of his flock.
Francis made the comment during his morning homily Tuesday; the Vatican didn't release the full text.
Francis was reflecting on St. Paul discerning when to leave his flock in the care of others, a decision Francis said all bishops must make.
He said: "When I read this, I think about myself, because I'm a bishop and I'll have to take my leave."

Q said the Pope was going to have a bad May.
Is Francis opening up the door to a resignation before some bad news gets out?
He has shocked me so many times..
Popa havva a badda May.
Yesterday is OK with me.
Benedict is pope. Frank is a fake.
Hey Pope, here’s your hat, here’s coat what’s your hurry!!!
Seriously, can we get a Catholic Pope in there...Non Jesuit, please.
The time is NOW.
True believers are supposed to yeild their choice making to that of God’s for their lives. This is yet another example of Frank showing he is fake and just playing a part for worldly gains which will amount to nothing good in the end.
Yep. Pope was wearing red shoes along with a crowd of evil people all wearing red shoes. If you are on #Q, you would know just what those evil red shoes stand for. Disgusting evil. Hope his new attire his hiding a criminal indictment boot. Evil man and horrendous child abuse.
“My work is done here”
Yesterday!
This guy has been an disaster for Catholicism - and I'm a Baptist!
Can we vote?
What do red shoes stand for? I’m afraid I’m not plugged in enough to know about this. Red shoes are a big fashion trend for women this year, but if they stand for something bad, I don’t want to buy or wear any.
Are you referring to this? Pre-Roman Etruscan kings wore them as a symbol of status, because the red (which they called royal purple) was a costly dye obtained from rare sea snails. The Roman emperors continued with the tradition of red shoes indicating high status. The great aristocrats also wore them. (From Aleteia).
Im not Catholic, but now is fine.
...and don’t let the door hit you in your Pontiffical patootie!
Think faster, Frankie.
When that fraud vacates the Vatican and gets his sorry butt back to the slums of South America it will be a great day not only for Christendom but for the entire world.
It’s way past time, Frank.
Yesterday is just fine for me too!!!
