This week on Saturday Night Live, guest and former cast member Tina Fey brought back her old Sarah Palin character to deliver a message to members of the Trump administration.
Heres a refresher: I was the first female on a Republican presidential ticket and now I get paid to tweet for Bass Pro Shops, Fey said as Palin. Take it from me, politics is a wild ride. One minute youre on top, and then youre gone in the blink of a Scaramucci. Well, I have a message for all the people in the Trump White House: enjoy your moment, who knows how long itll last.
Feys character then started singing a rendition of A Chorus Lines What I Did for Love with lyrics changed to hit at the Trump White House.

Back then it was actually live, without even a delay. In one episode, Paul Shaffer dropped the F-bomb accidentally. Those old episodes aren’t even funny today, with the culture shock already used up. But at the time...
SNL used to be good once. Does anyone remember that? I know it was a long time ago.

...back when John Belushi and Gilda Radner were alive.
In the Phil Hartman or Dana Carvey days. Lovitz and Murphy too.
Hillary does book signings at Costco.
Palin forged the patch for Trump, who now haunts your dreams, you shriveled-up cow.
"They'd never make fun of Emma Gonzalez now like they did that other "bald chick" Sinead O'Connor back in the day"
Back when SNL was good. Phil Hartman as Sinatra, Jan Hooks as the "Bald Chick" Sinead O' Conner.

Sarah Palin=Also Hot. JMHO
Not one bit of that caused me to even grin, let alone laugh.
SNLs emblem should be a cross, because comedy died there decades ago.
Agree!
That’s because I was ducking the gratuitous sarcasm.
Possibly the worst SNL ever made. There’s no bottom to Lorne Michael’s hatred of Trump.
Toni Basil.
LOL
I agree that in her day she was pretty easy on the eyes, but as is the case for all, the years seem to have not been kind to Ms. Fey.
Yes, I remember. I also remember when the history channel was about history, the weather channel was about weather, and MTV played music videos. Back then, I think, CNN even showed news.
About the only thing that has stayed true to form is Turner Classic Movies, although "classic" has started to creep up into what I would call the modern era (but that just shows how old I'm getting).
SNL apparently ran out of good ideas a couple of decades ago. So they hitched their horse to the leftist political agenda while telling themselves they're still counter-culture, out-there, and relevant. They're only around 'cause the network doesn't have anything better. (a sad but accurate comment on the state of the network)
p
... and are part of the attempt to kneecap Trump today!
Poor Feyo....this is all she’s got?
Norma Desmond much, Tinah?
