This year, 27% of Democrats said their sympathies lied with the Israel over the Palestinians in their conflict, while 25% said the Palestinians. The rest said both or neither. Just two years ago (when the Democrats adopted more pro-Palestinian positions in their plank), 43% of Democrats said their sympathies aligned with Israel compared with 29% who said the Palestinians.
It's not just that Democrats are split, it's how they're split. Establishment Democrats have been fighting off an insurgent progressive wing, and it's not any different on this issue. Liberal Democrats who pushed for the more pro-Palestinian language are far more likely to side with the Palestinians than the Israelis (by a 35% to 19% margin). Meanwhile, moderate and conservative Democrats still go with Israel (by an inverse 35% to 17% margin).
There's also an age gap on the issue that has dominated Democratic divisions dating back to the 2016 primary. In 2016, those under the age of 30 who called themselves Democrats or independents who leaned towards the Democratic Party said by a 39% to 31% margin that their sympathies aligned with the Palestinians rather than the Israelis. Among those Democrats age 65 years and older, the split was 50% for Israel compared to 24% for the Palestinians.

But thankfully enough Democrats in Wisconsin, Michigan, Iowa and Pennsylvania voted for Trump to make the difference in the election. I agree that many Democrats are either full blown radicals or submissive sheep, but there are a few left who are from neither camp. Those are the white working class voters the Democrats and the RINOS are ignoring, but whom Trump is actively courting. As a former Democrat myself it took me awhile to leave the party, but I eventually caught on to the fact the party leaders were a bunch of snobs, the activists were far left anti-American and anti-capitalist kooks, and the working class folks like us were left holding the bag! Not that the GOP is all that much better, but a few of its politicians and many of its rank and file voters get it about America!
I will l never forget after 9/11 seeing Arafat on television and his ashen look as he was (before 9/11) garnering positive (MSM) press for the first time in a long while. Arafat was visibly distraught over any negative PR that he envisioned. in retrospect we all know that that negative PR, if there was any, was very short-lived, and bashing Israel continued almost on abated thence.

If 25% of Democrats support the Palestinians, the Democrats will have no choice in 2020 but to include a provision in their convention platform vowing to move the U.S. embassy back to Tel Aviv from Jerusalem.
This would cost the Democrats the presidency, since American voters are overwhelmingly pro-Israel.
The likely fact is that 25% of Democrats merely SAY they’re pro-Palestinian but wouldn’t DO anything about it that would lose them elections.
Nah. The DNC talking points have though, irrespective of the media shill trying to push their line of bull.

In 2012 when drafting the party platform, Democratic leaders had removed references to God (and to Jerusalem as the capital of Israel). They didn’t merely forget to mention God; in updating previous party platforms, they made a conscious decision to remove Him.
Belatedly, democrat leaders realized that they should put God back in the picture. So an amendment to the platform was placed on the convention’s agenda. They held a voice vote on the floor of the convention to reintroduce God. Three times they held a voice vote and it was bood loudly. On the third attempt Mayor Villaraigosa just declared that 2/3's had adopted the inclusion of God.
The democrats are not interested in God or Israel. He is not in their demographic.
As long as they can trick the Jews to keep sending them money, they’ll keep giving LIP SERVICE to supporting Israel...even while helping Iran nuke up to take out Israel once and for all.
So why do Jews keep giving money to Democrats, even while they are working with Iran once and for all kill every Jew in the Middle East? Easy, they hate Republicans even more than they like Israel.
The Mayor was young, photogenic, a rising star in Dem politics, but that fiasco doomed Villaraigosa's political career. The vote was rigged and everyone knew it.
