The law firm of adult film star Stormy Daniels' attorney, Michael Avenatti, was hit with a $10-million judgment Tuesday in U.S. Bankruptcy Court after he broke his promise to pay $2 million to a former colleague.

"At the hearing, the U.S. Justice Department revealed that Avenatti has also defaulted on just over $440,000 in back taxes, penalties and interest that he had personally promised to pay the Internal Revenue Service under another bankruptcy settlement for his law firm."
"Assistant U.S. Atty. Najah Shariff told the judge that the federal government would soon file a motion demanding payment."
Why doesn't the IRS just raid his house and offices with a SWAT team like they would do to me if I defaulted on a half-million dollars in taxes?

Been reading a lot of stories on Mr. Avenatti and he seems to be heavy on brash talk, pretty lean on legal expertise.

Just like Jill Stein was able to rake in millions on her recount racket, the Left will be throwing money at this guy. They love him. They think he'll bring down Trump. With Schneiderman gone, Avenatti is their new "Plan B" should the Mueller investigation flame out.
I sure that if anyone from Free Republic owed several hundred thousand dollars to the IRS that they would be treated with the utmost courtesy and gentleness.
