Over the past several days, Elon Musk has been waging a war on Twitter against fake news and lying journalists - being particularly incensed by claims from UAW-supporting journalists at Reveal for making up claims such as that he banned yellow safety tape and beeping forklifts at his factories because they offend him (when such things can be easily found with a quick Google search).

Then another journalist ran a story claiming that Musk was meeting Saudi officials, condemning him, because that was interpreted as implicit support for the war in Yemen.

That journalist at least apologized and published a correction. But then the UAW supporters returned, insisting that Musk is secretly hiding worker injuries:

When Musk's girlfriend made a post defending him, the UAW supporters started teaming up and attacking her online until she deleted her post.
Meanwhile, Musk was asked what he thought of a series of headlines from Bloomberg, morphing the release of a performance option to the Model 3 into "Tesla's $35000 car will now cost you $78000"

I don't know how well this will go (turning to the mob usually just turns into arguments; I think you need professionals). But it's fun watching all of the leftist pie fights this has spawned, between the unions (and the Berkley / trust fund journalism majors they work with) and the environmentalists who care more about Musk's products.

This will backfire as badly as coining the term “fake news.” That term was create by liberals but now is the AKA for cfnn, msfnbc, nyft and many others.
