President Donald J. Trump vowed not to sign a bill on illegal immigration unless it included funding for a wall and strong border security. “Unless it includes a wall, and I mean a wall, a real wall, and unless it includes very strong border security, there will be no approvals from me,” Trump said in an interview with Fox and Friends host Brian Kilmeade aired Thursday morning.
Trump added he was frustrated that he did not get more funding for the wall in the last funding bill, but said that $1.6 billion was a good start.
“I can tell you there is a mood right now for very strong border security,” he said.
The president also explained his frustration with catch-and-release law loopholes, chain migration, and the visa lottery.
“It’s crazy, we have the worst immigration laws in the entire world by far,” Trump said.
He said that he wanted a comprehensive bill.

We need two walls. One for border security and one to keep lobbyists away from Congress. We do not need immigration at all. Our own people are capable of doing whatever jobs need filling if the pay is right. Build the wall, and we’re still coming after you rino scum. There is ALREADY authorization to build a wall- just start doing it.
I don’t even care if it is an actual wall... Two lines of chain-link fence with a sand track between them would suffice. Just comb it every hour and watch for tracks where someone tried to cross it.
I bet that would be cheaper and work better too.
How about no deal on immigration and we get a wall.

We need CONTROLLED immigration that is designed to meet the USA’s economic needs. Immigration for compassionate reasons should be the VERY RARE EXCEPTION.
You know why so many doctors are foreign born now-a-days?
Because there are not enough medical colleges here in US. And the medical school is very expensive. On the other hand medical schools in 3rd world countries are cheap.
trump is a great president but he made a mistake,. he should never have signed the last budget, he should have fought it out with the dems.
BTW whatever happened to the idea of using some of the defense budget to pay for the wall, Is that now off the table or what?
Expanding on your statement, everything should be predicated on the USA’s strategic needs, including economic needs.

Bush League Republicans have spent decades preventing US from electing anyone who would stand with US and the rule of law.
Most of the Senate GOP needs to be flushed.
They side with fraudulently documented foreigners and their employers.
Obviously you have never seen inside of a post graduate college class room. There is a critical shortage of American born students pursuing STEM majors, and especially of American born post graduate engineering students.
Without that class of immigrants, our hi-tech corporations will be forced to move abroad.
On the other hand our immigration laws favor RELATIVE sponsored immigrants with no regards to skills or wealth. Result is we have imported 30 million low wealth, low skills immigrants in last 25 years.
What we need is a merit or wealth based immigration system such as in New Zealand and Australia.
He is driving the narrative. Same with the NFL kneelers. And the abortion issue.
THAT'S what a leader does.

There has been since we were promised border security in the 1986 amnesty.
And again in 2006 with the Secure Fence Act.
The illegal alien inundation was intentional and it was bipartisan.
Bush League Republicans are still trying to give away the USA.
It better include strengthening and enforcing immigration laws.
It's time to make it perfectly clear the federal government is fully in control of immigration.
State and local laws that challenge such authority must be squelched once and for all.
Send some mayors, council members, and governors to sit in jail until they understand their responsibility in enforcing federal immigration laws.
Get rid of Ryan and all members of congress that signed on to that amnesty effort. Bye. Let’s get Jordan or someone that will back Trump’s agenda and promises. No amnesty, build the wall, and deport all illegal aliens. What is so hard about this? Well, other than it goes against big business and no borders crowd.
Why do we need so many people? The USA was a much better place when we had a much smaller homogenous population. I don’t understand population growth for growths sake.
