Eric Trump: My father's life has become 'exponentially worse' since running for president......

“My father’s life became exponentially worse the minute he decided to run for president. He didn’t need to do this, but he was 'immensely frustrated' with where the country was going,” Eric Trump, the president's second son, told Westchester Magazine.

“There would be far fewer headaches if it weren’t for politics,” Trump said, before adding the inconveniences were worth it “when you know you’re in it for the right reasons.” Given the high-profile nature of his role as a surrogate, Eric Trump said he was more forgiving of the resulting media scrutiny, but insisted his younger siblings deserved privacy.

“Every day, you get abused by somebody,” he said. “And the next thing you know, you’re being parodied on 'Saturday Night Live.' It comes with the territory. We stood center stage with my father during the campaign and beyond.”

“We are adults; we’ve developed a bit of an armor,” Eric Trump continued, referring to eldest brother Donald Trump Jr. and Ivanka Trump. “But Barron and Tiffany should be 100 percent off-limits.”

President Trump inherited a United States that was in more dire shape than the United States that President Reagan inherited from President Carter. President Trump has done more, and continues to do more, to “reboot” the United States than even President Reagan did.

I am not taking away anything from President Reagan, who ended the Cold War, set events in motion that led to the break-up of the Soviet Union, and substantially reduced Federal taxes. President Trump has done more.

Let me word it so you can understand.

I supported Trump from the beginning because he is not like the incompetent miscreants who ran against him.

I don't belong to any party.

The last president I supported with great enthusiasm was Ronald Reagan who also had two miscreants for kids while Trump only has one and it's not Eric.

Donald Junior actually went on the Sean Hannity show a year ago and lied about the meeting with the Russian Lawyer which was disrespectful to Sean, the rest of Fox News and all of the American People. That alone has caused the POTUS, who didn't do anything wrong, all sorts of unnecessary trouble.

Don't presume to call me a 'never Trumper ' or accuse me of weaseling out. You don't see the problem because your head is so far up your arse you would have to clear your throat to pass wind.

Have a nice day.

He’s better than Reagan in my humble opinion.

I loved Reagan and he did almost the best job a conservative could do for that time.

Politics then was different even thought the players were almost the same and the GOPe/DNC was in full charge. Today the Dems have moved too far and have gone off the edge because they though they had Communism in their grasp.

The gloves are now off and it is smash-mouth politics. The Dems are now so far onto the un-American path that the fight is now bare-knuckled and President Trump is just the man for the job. He can accomplish more than Reagan because politics as usual has been thrown out the window and we must win if we want to keep our Republic.

I sometimes feel sad for the President.
Then I think to how he swat back at libtards and other anti-trumpers, how he make them melt down, cry, scream, become hysteric, frightened, ridiculous, irrelevant.
Then I feel happy for the President.

I pray to be proven wrong, but it won’t surprise me much if Donald & Melania decide not to stand for reelection.

Trump is a martyr, pure and simple, sacrificing himself, his fortune, and family, for us — real Americans — and the continuance of our country.

Eric, dear Eric: We know how significantly your dad’s life and that of the family has changed since your dad took on this endeavor. The US was (and still might) end up in the trash heap of failed civilizations. Your dad and stepmom are doing what just might be a divine-ordained mission to do what can be done. It’s beyond anything most of us would sacrifice. Eric, don’t even describe it in words that can be twisted. President, Melania, and even Barron’s lives aren’t worse. They’re serving the greater good. We love them for it.

Everyday since early 2016, I have been thanking God for Mr. Trump, and very aware that our President is proof of a loving God that heard the millions of cries from His people and sent the Answer - MAGA.

If ever one needed to witness the Hand of God, just examine the candidacy and Presidency of Donald Trump.

And every person that seeks to defy this President is also spitting into the face of God. It is totally blasphemous how ungrateful they are for this intervention.

These past 3 years have been faith-filled years, ready at every turn to witness again the defeat of the plan of the Evil One.

Good post! Trump didn’t need to be President and even his ego isn’t that big. He was leading a perfectly comfortable life with friends of all persuasions. Conservatives thought he was too liberal and liberals thought he was too conservative, but none of us knew that his “politics” were just common sense approaches and philosophies based on real life experiences in business and life in general.

As you said, he’s doing it for our country and for us, doing it under the very worst of circumstances - worse than he or any of us could have known - and succeeding in spite of those circumstances.

Actually, that’s not true, but your point is well taken.

Ain’t anything intimate about what Eric stayed. It is the truth and has been plastered all over the msm

His saying it, is not helpful.

WHAT intimate family matters? Nothing terribly personal in his statements.

Don't get anal about the word, 'intimate'.

My point is, what Eric said is not helpful.

How can you be upset with someone telling the truth?
