Trump needs to stop letting guys like Ryan draft immigration bills. He needs to draft one and say, “this is what I will sign”. It can contain his 4 pillars, and it need not have anything about DACA or amnesty. He can say, give me these things and we can then talk about DACA. And Mitch needs to get rid of the filibuster so that it can pass the Senate.

301-121? Wow! Ryan couldn’t get even half the Republicans to vote for it.

Gee, seems like that’s something I said was going to happen this morning to the consternation of a particular drama-queen poster that swore I had “no idea what I was talking about”.

The hardliner bill got 192 votes, and this piece of garbage got 121? And stupid Ryan brought it up for a vote. A Maxine Waters IQ mistake, what an idiot.

Help me....I have severe WIN overload syndrome

Take three aspirin and try to sleep it off. I think you might have to deal with another win or two this week.

Your post should be the headline.

I just saw the bill had Goodlatte’s name at the top of it, and my understanding was that his bill was the good one.

I scanned through it, though, and the part about repatriating minors is just gobbledygook. Nothing about chain migration.

So the GOP screws us again. I was upset they didn’t pass it, but you’re right, this bill was worse than nothing, except for the $16 billion for the wall... (not the $25B asked for...)

Winning! That anyone voted for this piece of gobblygook garbage and stealth amnesty is pathetic. MAGA! This also shows what a moron the “speaker” is. Hahahaha.

Check!

Now if there is a red tsunami, we might see something like that after the mid-terms.

There is no point in voting on any immigration legislation, when Schumer has made it clear any immigration reform is dead in the senate.

That's why Trump said wait until after the election when there are more Republicans in congress.

The Democrats are in such disarray and blinded by their own hatred of any opposition they are ruining their chances on their own wedge issue.

It’s simple:

1. No citizenship ever for anyone permitted to stay. You want citizenship, return to Mexico and get in line.

2. Elimination of the right to appeal summary eviction from the US if you cross the border from either Canada or Mexico. Those countries must be presumptively safe havens that unequivocally disqualify anyone from claiming refugee status.

3. Full financing for the entire Wall, and for the security forces to properly patrol the border.

Without these three absolute conditions, no Republican has any business supporting legislation.
