A medical doctor can molest an unwilling adult, especially a naive adult. People follow orders of doctors and consider them authority figures. A doctor can ask a man to take off his clothes and he can examine and touch a man’s privates. Exactly how far he could get depends on the suspicions of the patient. I imagine an elderly senior with dementia or an 18 year old youth might be naive enough to get a few gropes out of before — or if —they realize what is happening.

“The alleged abuse occurred in the form of hernia checks during medical exams. No showers were involved, if I understand correctly.”

This is standard procedure. In my High School football all players had a physical and a hernia check was part of the drill. If the doc had of done anything improper he would have got hurt.

In 1966 at my Jr High we had a “Hands On’ Music teacher, somehow we 12 and 13 year old boys were tough enough to push him away, but these weakling 21 year old Wrestlers couldn’t. LAUGHABLE.

Wait until the SCOTUS hearings. I think we’ll all be amazed at the crap they throw at the cameras.

Could you summarize the article?

I bounced at a bar with Coleman in the mid-90’s. He was a real ass. Didn’t think twice about hurting someone because he could. I won’t talk about some of the other things I saw him do. I did see his skank girlfriend strip at a friend’s bachelor party if that gives you any clue what kind of guy he was.
I wouldn’t trust his story. Whatever it is.

The main complaint appears that ANY medical exam included the hernia check - which doesn’t seem out of scope for elite college wrestlers. The fact that a wrestler sprained an ankle doesn’t mean they also don’t have a hernia.

Thus far, I have yet to see anything out of line in this story, except that several ex-wrestlers are doing a #metoo and trying to smear a republican. Heck - the heavyweight guy (Coleman?) signed on as an assistant coach after Jordan left - and HE never reported the doctor, either!

If it gives you any validation, I've researched his skank daughters on Twitter.

They're both dum cumpsters.

>>People follow orders of doctors and consider them authority figures. A doctor can ask a man to take off his clothes and he can examine and touch a man’s privates.

This is all true, but we’re talking about college athletes that have had numerous physical exams at least once a year for at least 10 years prior to coming to college. Then, they had physical exams when they got there. I can’t tell you how many times during my youth I was examined by male and female doctors and nurses in all stages of dress and undress. I don’t believe any of the actual allegations of what this doctor did involved sexual contact (i.e. oral, etc.) but rather groping. I’m not saying that’s OK; I’m not saying the doctor shouldn’t have been dealt with criminally; he should have.

What I am saying is that the one supposedly bearing the blame for all fo this is an obscure assistant coach who may or may not have had ANY knowledge of what was going on and certainly did not have complete knowledge of it. Yet, we are told that he HAD to have known because everyone else know. Well, if everyone else knew, why the hell aren’t they being criticized for not reporting this? The ones accusing Jordan appear to be wrestlers that allege they were harmed yet they haven’t said what those harms are.

If anyone wonders why FR is going down the tubes - not understanding that taking down the main attacker of Jim Jordan is "Breaking News" is kind of an indicator.

Hey - I've just been posting here since March of 1997 - what do I know?    winking face

My thoughts exactly. Were these guys tied up for their physicals? These are D-I NCAA athletes, WRESTLERS, for goodness sake. What’s next—Luthor accused by Superman?

JIM JORDAN AND HIS ACCUSERS
Two former Ohio State University wrestlers are accusing Rep. Jim Jordan of ignoring sexual misconduct by a university physician more than two decades ago when he was an assistant wrestling coach at Ohio State. There’s no claim that Jordan engaged in such misconduct, the claim is that he knew about, but failed to take action to stop, sexual harassment by a team doctor.

Jordan denies knowing about the doctor’s misconduct. The question, then, isn’t what Jordan did; it’s what he knew. That’s usually a difficult kind of inquiry.

In Jordan’s case, the two accusers are highly suspect. According to Chuck Ross at the Daily Caller, one of them, Dunyasha Yetts, served prison time for a $1.8 million fraud scheme that involved bilking professional athletes using phony documents.

The other accuser, Mike DiSabato, has been accused by the widow of a Marine killed fighting in Iraq of intimidating and bullying her over a memorial fund set up in her husband’s name. The fund was supposed to help Ohio-based athletes, Olympic hopefuls and the families of fallen soldiers.

Instead, according to Ms. Mendoza, DiSabato used it to finance a mixed martial arts venture. When the widow complained, the former wrestler tried to intimate her, she alleges. “I question the intent, the authenticity, the verity, that Mike DiSabato shares in any of his words or actions,” Ms. Mendoza says.

In addition, to his problem with the Mendoza widow, DiSabato had an ugly run-in with Bret Adams, a sports agent who represents former Ohio State and NFL football star Chris Spielman. Earlier this year, DiSabato was arrested on charges of telecommunications threats against Adams. And Adams has sued DiSabato for defamation, alleging that the former wrestler falsely told business associates that Adams was racist and sexist.

Apart from the obvious credibility problems of the accusers, the timing of their allegations raises suspicion. Jordan has been a high profile member of Congress throughout this decade. And there is no claim that he paid anyone to hush things up.

So why are these allegations against him, involving matters at least 25 years old, suddenly emerging now? The reason may be some combination of the fact that Jordan taking a lead role in vigorously criticizing the FBI and his emergence as a potential contender for Speaker of the House.

This is the comical part of the story. Anyone over the age of eighteen is mature and considered an adult. If they got dragged into some gay-wrestling activity....it’s their own business. If these were 13-year old wrestlers, it’d all be different, and we could talk about this as being a problem.

If folks think this is really serious....why not talk about idiot college kids (19 years old) who take a $80,000 loan to cover college tuition?

"These allegations have to do with what Jordon is doing now in the House going after Rosenstein and the cover-up of what the democRATS did to weaponize and politicize the DOJ and FBI under Obama.

The allegations and accusations by these "wrestlers" are just a political smoke screen to damage Jordon's character and distract America's eyes from the real criminal behavior at the DOJ and FBI."

Someone wrote something like this on another site:

"It would be well worth looking into whether RR weaponized the FBI and DOJ to do a hit job on JJ after JJ held RR’s feet to the fire over RR’s obligation to the American people to end his BS and give Congress what they are asking for."
