Later in the article it claims that competition from Amazon, Apple, HBO and generally from cable companies that are offering smaller cable tv packages. These are probably contributing factors. They've noticeably left off the reason many people have dropped their service: the
Obama production deal.
Some of us voted with our wallets. Too bad they're only 1 million less than forecast....

There’s that and a lot of foreign programs coming out as Netflix Originals. The story seems interesting but then when you select it its all subtitles or dubbed in English. I immediately click out of it.
