Michael Hayden, the former director of the National Security Agency (NSA), warned Thursday that impeaching President Donald Trump would have unintended consequences and could further delegitimize the intelligence community.
Hayden, a frequent critic of President Trump, told Hill.TV’s Krystal Ball and Buck Sexton that he believes “impeachment would be a bad idea.”
“If President Trump is somehow forced to leave office before the end of his first term, one-third of America will believe it was a soft coup conducted by people, well frankly like everybody here at the table would be their view,” Hayden said. “I think the only way we move beyond this in any way that’s healthy for our democracy is we vote,” the Obama-era intelligence official added.

Even while we read and write, Democrat Election Supervisors in counties where “early voting” happens, are (or will be) busily changing your votes to guarantee the “right” people are in power. Early voting is simply a means for corrupt Democrats (are there any who are not corrupt?) to rig elections. Early voting only works if every one protecting your vote is honest. Do you really believe that is who Democrats are?
Democrats have us surrounded. The Media. FBI/DOJ/Mueller. Election Supervisors.
Trump may be making the final stand. What future Republican will have Trumps ability and will to fight? If even Trump can’t do it what real chance does a free United States have?

Although, in the absence of an actual soft coup, I suspect the game plan will be to continuously weaken Trump so he gets nothing done.
Huge, huge, huge, good point. As a Catholic, I know that we lost the Catholic Church after Vatican II, when it was infiltrated by perverts, pedos, rapists, Marxists, etc. That’s over 50 years of leftist rule just in the one denomination alone.
As far as I’m concerned, once the general public rolled over and allowed the 10 Commandments to be removed from parks and other public squares, it was all over. I hope they’re happy with their Georgia Guidestones, since they did nothing to retain the 10 Commandments monuments.
Tanks, A-10s and rifle companies are too noisy to keep a secret. Chocolate bars on CNN won’t fool them, but CNN will surely be part of their response. They’ll have to be more subtle to keep it a law enforcement matter and not a military one. So, the police will be given new powers to function more like the Gestapo instead of your local constabulary. They would become the domestic arm of the military. They’re almost there now with tactical gear and kangaroo courts.
This is where I think it would go.

Yeah, I’m still waiting for Lois Lerner to be prosecuted for her crimes against conservatives. The Communists won WWII, moved over here, and have been winning here ever since. And it seems that not one person will come out to help Pres Trump, other than possibly Scalise and Rand Paul, both of whom were already nearly murdered.
Shutting down communication would explode every city.
The other aspect is rampant vote fraud. It only goes one way, so we have to be vigilant and ensure that the midterms are NOT corrupted.
In AZ, cops are being given free reign to gun down anyone they like, especially anyone mentally ill or deaf who does not understand police orders. I know that there are still good PD, retired Marines who went into LE, good CHPs, etc., but after Boston and several other incidents, I don’t believe that all that many LEOs will be on our side after all.
What about Russians?
I believe from now until forever, EVERY SINGLE TIME a democrat loses to a Republican, especially in Presidential elections, they will blame Russians.

A majority of the populace actually is medicated into not reacting properly to stimulus in the form of anti-depressants which don't just level out the lows, as well as psychological manipulation via broadcast and cable tv. Have you ever noticed just how many FReepers and conservatives in general eschew both anti-depressants and most television? Correlation is not causation but given past covert intelligence operations experimenting upon psychological manipulation, I believe a compelling argument could be made.
We use the law.

I doubt most Active Duty military folks would take the side of the Pu$$y-hat/Antifa side - I would stake that 65% or more of the grunts and 50% or more of your major commanders would defect if ordered to turn their weapons on American Patriots - many of whom are military veterans themselves.

It will never be said that I went down without a fight, as I stood on a street corner for nearly a year, with about 200-500 others, protesting DeathCare. We’d go every Friday after work, to stand in front of Gabby Giffords office. I’ve also built walls on the border and many, many other things. Most people will not even bother to show up even once, always claiming “work” or “family” or something.
My parents escaped from a Communist country, only to see this one reverting to one over the last 50 years.
I have zero hope that the public will EVER actually stand up and do something. We’re already a banana republic/no law and order for political class/surveillance police/military state for the peons. And don’t get me started about the blood on the hands of those who never protested abortion, endless wars and genocides, toxins in our water and food supply, etc. THEY are the ones who let this happen.
