As I have suggested in other posts, this is yet another Charlie Brown and the football moment with more of getting suckered by Lucy to come. Living up to being “the stupid party” does take some effort at times.
I must admit (and I know I am not popular on this db for my position) Moore handled the whole issue poorly, was a poor candidate and even quit doing events the weekend before the election. He did himself in.
Having said that, this is a different set of facts and I think this supreme court battle favors the GOP right now as she does not want testify. Thus, I am pretty optimistic that he will get approved by the Senate well before the midterms.
