I think it will be interesting...I think we will either have a close loss in the house, but I think it will be a surprise with a few house seats picked up, 10 Senate and 1 or 2 governor pick up...

Analysis is based on normal democrat vs republicans...this is uniparty times and a constitutionalist president...as Rush says, such comparisons are bunk...

Analysis of the accurate polls shows a generic congressional gap of no more than 4 to 5 points which means little if any House gain for the Democrats. The liberal polls are showing a much greater gap but that is obviously a pathetic attempt to discourage Trump supporters from voting. This same scenario played out in 2016. A huge gap that tightened towards the end.

I think October 26 will be BLUE FLUSH awareness day. Why? Because on that day the 3rd GDP will be released show great economic growth. Also that day is just 11 days before the midterms and even the liberal polls have to start reflecting reality to maintain their future credibility.

The Left will panic over this and go full out mental which will alienate the voters even more.

Mark down that day: October 26. The day the left becomes aware of the BLUE FLUSH COMING.

Stop calling them Democratic.

There’s nothing democratic about the Democrat party.

no repeal/replace of ObamaCare

Thankfully, however, the individual mandate was in fact repealed...long way to go, but there was at least one step in the right direction. Another chunk of it Trump has also been repealing himself since it was done by executive fiat "as the secretary deems necessary."

no end to DACA

DACA was crated by President Obama by executive fiat. That has nothing to do with Congress to repeal.

That’s the spirit - maybe if your attitude prevails in just a few years instead of complaining about the GOP we can instead be wondering how much longer the country is going to last under permanent leftist control. Amazing with how the Garland / Gorsuch situation and how it came out over the course of two years you still can argue nothing was handled differently vs. Dem control. After tax reform you still act like there was no difference. And so on, and so forth. Do you want President Trump impeached?

Doesn’t matter what I want.

It only matters what Ford wants.

The only thing that can stop the big red wave is massive voter fraud. Must be vigilant.

I pulled for Republicans in 2006, but many Republicans were fed up with the President Bush and the GOP’s way of conciliation with the D’s on everything. It’s no surprise they lost seats that year.

Even Rush Limbaugh described the upset as liberating, as he had been exhorting the Republicans to fight back against Democrat shenanigans and obstruction and to end conciliation. People vote for fighters, not appeasers, and the base proved him right. They didn’t turn out.

I can face reality as soberly as anyone. But the only way to beat a trend is for everyone to give it their best. It’s happened before. It can be done again. And with Donald Trump as President to motivate the base we have as good of a chance to beat the trend as any party ever had.

He fights, the base knows it, and I can’t wait for November 6!

Cruz’s chances are not as bad the media makes out. But he could lose if he takes his base for granted. I don’t think he is, but I’m a Republican voter in Mao Blue Austin. I don’t see much signage for him. He gets more GOTV advertising in the news here. (That’s supposed to be funny…)

If Cruz can fight as hard against Beto in the general as McCain did against JD Hayworth in their AZ primary, he’s got nothing to worry about.

RW: Whoa there my FRiend. You are waaaayyyy over reacting.

Everyone knows the GOP is weak. That’s not a news flash or a deep secret.

They play us every election cycle. I’m not going to ignore that ugly reality. The only reason many Republicans get elected is because they are simply the lesser of two evils.

As far as the tax reform goes, Trump had to drag them kicking and screaming across the finish line. And the GOP keeps spending and approving Democrat driven budgets. By the way, where is the wall that many Republicans said they would support — prior to the last election when they wanted our votes? And why did they allow the Wisconsin Weasel to stifle the president’s agenda?

I don’t give failure and hypocrisy by anyone a pass. Now having said that, maybe if enough people call them out for their duplicity and weakness a few of them might get the message and actually support conservative issues instead of kowtowing to K Steet and the Chamber of Commerce.

In spite of it all, I actually think the Republicans may still hold the house. Not because they were productive, but because the hysterical Democrats are overplaying their hand. Trump’s good economy is also helping them, despite themselves.

So what you going to do? Not vote to teach them a lesson by letting democraps win and make things worse? Brilliant!

Rather have a party in power too timid to lead, then an evil party too radical that rules!

So what you going to do?

*****************

I donated a significant amount of money to Donald Trump’s campaign. Basically I put my money where my mouth is.

I figured (at that time) if he did a good job and was a strong enough leader he could squeeze something of value out of the feckless and unprincipled Repukes.

As its turned out he has, to some extent, been able to do that. That might provide some in the GOP a tailwind to get them elected.

In other words I invested in Trump and continue to do so. Overall, the GOP hasn’t gotten behind his agenda or helped him. They are still foot dragging and bending over for the Democrats who effectively continue to run the show on Capitol Hill.

Its really a sad state of affairs. But it has been this way for a very long time, well before Trump came on the scene.

My hope is that he can provide the party with direction, purpose, and most important of all — a new sense of resolve.
