And Murkowski voted “Present” so Daines did not have to be there to cancel her “no” vote with his “yes”.
As much as it pains me to say it, that was a classy move by the old broad.

Just think about it- after Daines goes to Montana, Manchin "has a crisis of conscience" and suddenly is "woke" to the plight of abused women everywhere.....then decided to vote NO.
Murkowski then decides to Vote NO as well. Could've made it 49-50.
Wow, this just put tears in my eyes. What a gracious gentleman we have in the White House. Would any other POTUS have thought to make such a iponderful call to a Senator? I could see Lincoln, Washington, and Reagan thinking to do this.

Trump is giving cover for the Senator, he is to be commended for that. But the Senator was wrong in doing so, this was an historical vote and his responsibility was to be there.
