Some weird stuff going on. Certainly makes a thinking person question reality. And we all make our decisions based on what we perceive as reality, including scientists, we are generally fools for this. Something that all scientists should know.
Yes, it is clear that Hawking could not reconcile God of the bible and God, creator of the Universe - so he flunked out.
What a contribution he could have made - if he had used his brain, soul and common sense in that pursuit. Sadly, he was bitter at God for his disorder and the limits it played in his life.
I don't understand how anyone can say it's impossible there's a God. With all we're learning about DNA and the universe, it's impossible that coincidence could've created such intricate results.

Faith is a personal matter. Anyone who questions your faith seeks to understand or destroy the your faith.
When they ask why you believe, tell them.
When they tell you that God does not exist or that your faith is foolish, just smile and wish them a good day and move on.

It is hard to say how much of this or especially any of his later books were actually “written” by Hawkings. He received a lot of help right from the start of his career by uncredited assistants. With a lot of help from the Hawkings team, his image is mostly a leftist media creation.
It is no surprise that the Hawkings team is still trying to squeeze a little more juice from the lemon. If this one makes money they will keep on publishing books from his “notes” or new details about his “inspiring” life.
Well, some might say I am very good - exceptional - at some things...and I am most obviously completely ignorant and incapable of other things. Like most human beings (even Hawking).
But one thing I will never do is deny the existence of God. Ever.

So, I guess my NDE in 1960 at the age of seven, where I spoke with my Guardian Angel, and was told I had a ‘Job’ to do on Earth, and would die and go to Heaven after my ‘Job’ was complete, was all a very vivid dream?
Sad to see someone die like that. Curse God and die....someone told Job. Same thing here...not much has changed in mans unbelief.
