Donald Trump has ordered the military to be on alert over a US-bound migrant caravan as he declared a national emergency.
Referring to the caravan from Honduras, the president tweeted: "Sadly, it looks like Mexico's Police and Military are unable to stop the Caravan heading to the Southern Border of the United States.
"I have alerted Border patrol and Military that this is a National Emergency."
He added that the US would begin "cutting off, or substantially reducing aid" to three Central American countries.

Haven’t read that guy in decades, but have payed attention to how easily a technical is created and how heavily armed the cartels are - who are undoubtedly involved. The organizers would be remiss had they not enlisted the cartels - where do you imagine the extra 6,000 invading troops came from?
You imagine DJT just gave a Warning Alert to major military units for political reasons or because something is known beyond what is in the public domain?

Exactly! Some entities with big bucks are behind this. Someone is feeding and clothing this army of invaders. Their clothes are new, there are new trucks transporting them ....the women especially are well-fed...lots of belly fat rolls! These are not desperate starving people. Who is taking the bribes from the sponsors of this fiasco?
How about cutting off all transfers of money from the US (Western Union, Moneygram, etc.)?

You always have to consider that whoever is organizing and financing this is specifically doing so to send these willing sheep to the slaughter. They may very well want them to die...on camera.

Methinks that we can put up barriers that would be effective enough, until a proper wall, etc. is built - across several hundred miles of the Texas border with Mexico. There are many other things that can be done also, things that are less than lethal - for example, heat rays, sound weapons, spraying “skunk juice” all over them with high-powered hoses, etc.
This had BETTER be stopped, and I believe that Trump has every intention of doing just that. After all, this is the primary reason that he was elected, and if he cannot repel these invaders with weeks of warning, then he will have been an utter failure and will not be re-elected. However, Donald Trump will not fail, as it is a word and concept that is just not part of his being.
Potential President Actions .....
1) Close the border with Military
2) Stop all wire transfers of money to these 3 countries
3) Stop all aid to these 3 countries
4) Emergency petition to Supreme Court to allow any of these people that cross the US border to be immediately sent back to home country

I think that is the plan. Video of Trump’s stormtroopers clubbing terrified mothers clutching their babies.
No doubt there are provocateurs mixed in with the crowd - some violent hired gang members and radical ANTIFA types to warm up the defenders with insults, rocks and a few casualties; before they start the cameras rolling and stampede the sympathetic looking victims into the batons of the defenders.
This is like the “Paliwood” theater of storming the Gaza fence, except that they will have more actual civilians, and fewer actual terrorists in the mix.
The optics of the border confrontation is what they want. They will have someone crack a kids head open themselves if they have to, to get their new iconic symbol of Trump’s inhumanity on the cover of Time magazine.
They want a bloody shirt to wave. They want their base to see red.
What I did was read the “new” law. The Hart-Celler Act of 1965 (the immigration law amendment Ted Kennedy sponsored and which was subsequently passed by the Senate and signed into law by Lyndon Johnson, actually imposed the FIRST CAP on immigration from the Americas. I agree the old law was far more stringent, however it appears the new law was intended to increase immigration only from Asia and Africa, not from Latin America.
Further it did not appear to have altered the Constitutional remedies available to the President to protect the national borders and to repel invasions with military force. Kennedy’s amendments only changed the ethnic mix of immigration, not enforcement of wider immigration law.
No doubt. Which is why I didn't suggest shooting them.

I think we should declare on Guatemala, Honduras, Nicaragua and all Salvador. Make them colonies if they are just going to ship their dregs anyway. Surely any governorship the US sets up in these locations will be better than what is in place. Then you can keep these foreigners there and incarcerate the criminals instead of sending them to the US. Win - win.

Military can be used to blockade locations, not do arrests, that can still be done by border patrol units.
If government refuses to do one of the very few Constitutionally MANDATED tasks of protecting our borders then We The People must do it. If government tries to punish us, then remember, if called for jury duty on a case where a patriot stopped this parasite invasion, promise to implement JURY NULLIFICATION and slap down this government.
They will look very weak when the people just walk by them....or totalitarian when they ‘stop’ and arrest women and children....
