Any race close enough to cause a recount will eventually be won by the democrat.

My prediction is Ted Cruz hires Beto to plunge his toilet after eating a Tijuana Torpedo with extra molcajete sauce.

I look at it from the glass half full angle... to hold the dems to 220 is an accomplishment, and that “majority” would be so narrow as to be ineffectual. The Senate always presents a couple surprises, upside and downside.

I’m hoping and praying for a far better outcome, but I’m also tempering my expections with the reality that the party in power typically loses house seats.

Where the heck did you get Senate 53R to 47D?

Explain or is it a wild guess?

Regardless of the outcome in the House, there will not be a Blue Wave.
The GOP have 45 retirements. An unusually high number for any
election year. If we lose the House, it won’t be because of a Blue
Wave, it will be because of an unusually high number of retirements.
98% of incumbents win their elections.
District voters may not show the same loyality to a new GOP
candidate as they would have for the incumbent had they not retired.

Menendez wins, already won since they manufactured votes in Hudson County and Camden weeks ago.

Lance goes down.

Republicans loose 6 seats in the house, pick up 6 senate seats. Governors I don’t know enough for an educated estimate, if only I had Nate Silver’s Ouija board.

GOP picks up 3 Senate seats.

Dems pick up 14 House seats.

Six governorships flip from GOP to Dem.
