Full Title: Here We Go… State of Maryland Files Legal Objection to President Trump’s Appointment of Matthew Whitaker as Acting Attorney General

The Deep State is absolutely terrified of President Trump’s appointment to Acting Attorney General, Matthew Whitaker. Today the state of Maryland announced their legal action into the constitutionality of Whitaker’s appointment. The Deep State must have him removed to continue the Mueller witch hunt.

Maryland and the deep state are trying to get DAG Rod Rosenstein appointed as Acting Attorney General –

The state seeks a preliminary injunction that prevents the federal government from responding to the suit while Whitaker appears as acting attorney general. Instead, Maryland requests a declaration that Deputy Attorney General Rod Rosenstein is the acting attorney general.

And it begins! First they're stealing elections and now tthey're attempting to usurp the presidents authority appointing an acting Attorney General he's duly entitled to by law.

They clearly want Rosenstein, because he’s “in on it” as to all of the efforts to neutralize POTUS. Next, they’ll ask the court for a temporary injunction on Whitaker, to keep him from leading, while it goes through courts.

I would think Maryland should not have “standing” on this issue, since it is a federal cabinet post, but I am not a lawyer, and I did not stay at a Holiday Inn Express last night.

I don’t think they read the script....Rosenstein has potential criminal charges laying there, with President Trump in full control of the guy....24-hours a day.

I tend to agree with you though, it’s a element of the federal government. If the judge sides with them, then any state could bring this up and have a general or cabinet post guy removed....at any time.

Maryland has standing to sue the President over this appointment if the U.S. Attorney General is involved in a Federal case where the State is a litigant. This is exactly what gave the defendant the standing to sue the Obama administration in the NLRB case that was decided in 2017.

Maryland may very well prevail in this case -- when it comes to having Whitaker removed as AG. They aren't likely to prevail when it comes to having Rod Rosenstein appointed AG. No state can tell a President who to appoint to any cabinet post. All they can do is insist that the appointee meet the Constitutional requirement for Senate confirmation.

Wonder if we’ll ever get to see the FISA docs? I support Trump but he’s backed away from releasing the docs he ordered to be “immediately declassified”. Meanwhile, Rosenstein remains in his job and continues his stonewalling of the congress and undermining the president.

I’m starting to think that Horwitz is “in on it” as well and is refusing to release the docs. As president Trump simply cannot allow these partisan bureaucrats control him. He needs to enforce his authority and protect his credibility.

That’s not the real motive. The strategy on the Left is to inundate Trump in lawsuits and cripple his administration. Even CNN is suing him. A flood of lawsuits and subpoenas. This is what they’re really up to.
