As I write this from San Diego, the rain is pouring outside my window, a rare winter rain brought on by an offshore tropical storm blowing in from the west. It's heavy, dripping, dropping rain, and it's getting the entire region good. Normally, rain is a cause for rejoicing in these parts, because drought is the norm, and rain makes everything turn green.
But you don't want to be out in that rain, which is where the Tijuana caravan migrants are, just south of San Diego, soaking up rain, mud, germs, cold, bacteria, viruses – and picking up diseases.
Right now, it's happening in Tijuana, where 6,000 migrants are still camped out. Fox News reports that more than a third, some 2,200 of them are being treated for lice, scabies, chicken pox, hepatitis, HIV, tuberculosis, and infections. The San Diego television press reported last night that measles has also been detected in the squalid encampment, where new caravans are arriving even as some pack up and go home.
So much for the insistence from the left that the migrants are disease-free, and any concern about public health issues is easily explained as xenophobia, as Vox claimed. Boston Public Radio WGBH echo-chambered that in the true JournoList tradition of Vox founder Ezra Klein (it's as though they talk to each other, no?) seizing on the small discrepancy in a U.S. agent's claim about "smallpox" when he likely meant "chicken pox" – which sure enough, has turned up among the migrants.
Such a phony, phony argument. With the latest Fox News report, these media claims did not age well.
Nobody should be camping out in unsanitary conditions in that rain. What a vile group the caravan organizers are to allow such inhuman conditions to occur.

Close, but those two tactical objectives are still subsidiary to their main goal. IMO, the absolute #1 priority for the deep state, the entire reason for their being, is to reverse the result of the last 200 years of wealth creation that elevated the peasantry to form a middle class.
Before the industrial revolution, the wealth divide was so immense, that there was really very little distinction between peasant, serf & slave (other than technical legal definitions). To those who have appointed themselves the responsibility to rule, this is an untenable position, one in which they refuse to suffer.
Their solution to once again assume unquestioned power & authority is to destroy the basis of the ability to create wealth. Capitalism can only operate efficiently in a culture where there is a firm foundation in law, including private property, association, etc. It also requires a rigid set of rules governing behavior, education and diligence ie all the virtues. If you can knock out the underpinnings of the open market, you can destroy the wealth of the productive class, and reduce them to penury. Once the middle class is once again subjugated, then the ruling class can once act without restraint.
So, what are the core tactics used by the deep state to destroy the basis of law, independence and free will? Summarize a list of each of the core issues that keep popping up on FR, and that Trump is battling, and you have your answer. That's why open borders, mass immigration, population substitution, etc are all just precursor steps to the main objective outlined above.
Trump should declare a public health emergency and close the border. Let the Commiecrats and their media henchmen explain why American citizens need to be infected in the name of the migrant insurgency. Disease outbreaks are already cropping up across America, and the CDC knows it. What would the Commiecrats say if 1% of the insurgents were found to be infected with Marburg or Ebola?

You can add the ultra liberalizing and snow flaking of what were good colleges/universities and K-12 public schools for the middle class to your list of core issues to keep us tamed for our new world. The ‘grads’ of these snowflake institutions will be left wing/whining snowflakes losers for their entire miserable lives.
Even before the caravan arrived, the distinctive odor of Tijuana was always burnt meat mingled with the smell of sewage.

On Twitter, someone posted a map of Mexico and Central America and asked why the invaders went to Tijuana instead of Brownsville TX where the journey would have saved hundreds of miles.

As a devout atheist, even though Xian presents a paradox, I must give credit where credit is due: it absolutely nails the virtues necessary to live a life as a free man.
You can go down the list of virtues and sins, and without exception, the virtues are being attacked & marginalized, while sins are what are being promoted, normalized and instituted.
If one didn't think it was an intentional conspiracy to alter the culture of W Civ, then how is it so uniform across the board without exception?
As far as snowflakery, I have a 20 yo son (attended public K-12 + college) who has turned out completely 'normal', so we can see that educational indoctrination is not fool proof.
That's why the deep state has turned to population substitution in N America & W Europe. It's seems like the surefire way to transform a society is to simply replace those who don't go along with the program.
So, while education, media and culture are still hot spots of contention between the forces of good & evil, the ultimate battle is on our southern border.
We lose that, and the deep state can literally shut down their operations. No need for censorship, educational influence, etc. They can relax & move into a post-war environment where they control all facets of existence.
