There’s no such thing as a Palestinian people. They don’t exist, unless we want to consider the population of a county to be the equivalent of a Nation.

Only 200,000 Arabs living in Palestine when the first Zionist settlers arrived in the late 1800s. Over the next 60 years, when the Jews started building, farming, and modernizing, immigrants from all over the Middle East moved there to take advantage of job opportunities and a better way of life.

By the time the state of Israel was established in 1948, 80% of the non-jews living there were immigrants, just like all the Muslim immigrants all over Europe. Only difference between Muslim population in Israel and Muslim population in France or England, was a base population of 200,000 Palestinians prior to the zionists arrival. That does not justify calling the Palestinians a Nation of people.

When did Pelosi say that? I didn’t see anything except the dems coming out of the WH and not in time to hear them speak - LUCKY ME - but I watched the president in the Rose Garden and only one person asked him about it...He could have made his answer a lot stronger. I’m sure there are ethics violations that Pelosi would have to take action on.

I hadn’t seen the part about the map of the Middle East in her office that’s at this link. THAT definitely should be taken down and shoved right down her throat. A few years back a fuss was made of artwork that some congress critter put up in a hallway outside their office (as I remember) and it had to be taken down - it was put back up and taken down again more than once.

I hope the demon-rats show the entire country exactly what they are during the State of the Union speech - do not show up or walk out....I hope the president doesn’t pull any punches. That isn’t the purpose of the SOTU but neither is the purpose of running and being elected to Congress to show hostility and disrespect to the president and by extension to the country you are supposed to serve. I dislike intensely this creature referring to “my” and “our” country. It’s ours but definitely not hers with her mentality! She shows by her mouth that this country has no meaning for her.

The president did fine in the Rose Garden today - it should show everyone that he is in command and on top of things. He may jumble them up at times but today, he did much better IMO.

If I step back and look at things globally, there is a vortex of socialism, tyranny, despotism, dictatorship in virtually every country. The US got snagged in it back in the 1930s. The US Constitution as written is not compatible with socialism. Its “interpetation” tells another story. Technology in the last 30 years, without the moral underpinning to maintain American freedom, has accelerated socialism’s advancement. I hope we wake up fast.
