The real bombshell takeaway from former special counsel Robert Mueller’s self-serving press conference on Wednesday is that he just threw Attorney General William Barr, a long-time Justice Department colleague and friend, under the bus by insinuating he lied regarding POTUS Donald Trump’s “guilt” in Russian collusion hoax.
And in doing so, Mueller chose his loyalty to the deep state over he loyalty to a lifelong friend. That’s how serious this “battle royale” between all the president’s men and the Deep State really is.
First, for context, a little history.
As noted by The Atlantic, both Barr and Mueller served together at the Justice Department in the early 1990s in the administration of President George H. W. Bush (himself a former CIA director). Not only that, but as Barr told senators during his confirmation hearing in January, “the two men have had a relationship for years” — on personal, social, and family levels...

Barr’s priority is “re-establishing the integrity” of the DOJ. He said so specifically. It is ludicrous that he would begin such a task by putting a couple dozen of their highest ranking officials in prison. He is running a Modified, Limited Hangout program that is unraveling because the rubes have seen the pea disappear too many times now. Think about it, just a week ago when I first proposed as much almost every FReeper chastised me for being “cynical” or worse. Try to find a FReeper who still thinks that way just a week later.
Believe the documents that will be released will show how Mueller and his band of so call lawyers did everything they did because of politics and not the law. Because of this Mueller yesterday tried to throw a smoke screen to hide under and it like everything else will be blown apart.
Dems. should impeach or get off the pot. Tired of hearing the name Mueller and Comey. Tired of hearing about impeachment already. Do it and see what the Senate decides. Time for some action.
This whole thing is a roller-coaster. It’s not good for my health.
I’m still trying to be patient and wait for the Offense to start. Declassify documents, get people to testify under oath, indict some people. Sigh. It’s a long slow process and I do worry that the train isn’t going to make it into the station. Still hoping though.

In sum:
Deep State Clinton investigation: “We have conclusive evidence of wrongdoing, but we don’t believe she intended to."
Deep State Trump investigation: “We can’t find any conclusive evidence of wrongdoing, but we’re certain he intended to.”
It’s not just the deep state he’s protecting, it’s his own posterior.

Yesterday, a story broke about someone who tried to burn themselves to death on the White House lawn, I was disappointed that it wasn’t Mueller.
After having his hit job investigation and then subsequent statement,he can’t get off that easy. He’s destroyed people’s lives and attempted to take out Trump and the will of us voters. He should be arrested in a spectacular raid by a swat team.
methinks mueller like roberts has been compromised by the deep state..imo they gave up their independence out of fear of the deep state and what the deep state had on them..is their another logical answer? occam’s razor
I think Barr will let the investigations of the investigation and potential indictments be his defense.
Mueller basically accuses AG Barr of perjury... than runs away and says he will not repeat such under oath...

Could it be that Barr had witnesses to Mueller’s statements?!

My sense of all this is “our side” has had enough of being crapped on. Sad to say it but if Barr really wants to save The USA he has a shot but he is going to have to come clean and arrest, indict, and imprison all the people involved in the coup. I doubt he can do it and he will probably have a “terrible accident” if he tries but outside that America is lost. We will have to either give up and the Deep State takes complete control and things get much worse or we can do the opposite but the middle road is gone forever.

This is an important topic I want to stay abreast on...that said, I believe you are making a good point...without being insulting, can you translate what you say here? I read it twice and I don’t understand your jargon.
How does Barr reestablish the integrity of the FBI if he does not prosecute those leaders who committed crimes?
