In the past I would have thought such a position a certain loser.
Certain.
But it’s a position that will get intermingled with a bunch of other crazy Dim sh!t and a 50-50 chance of winning.
There already is a law that forces hospitals to give free ER care to anyone who can’t pay. We are already paying for that in higher costs.
We don’t let anybody die in this country. They get taken to the county ER. Even Democrat idiot voters know that.
First of all Biden's socialist-commies are going to say "How many old people can our new government health care system afford?" Then: "You, you and the other old people die." And "That new drug cure is too expensive by our cost guidelines so your loved one has to die. Too bad. We have rules."
Second, the Dems blocked any solution to the illegals swarming across the border. They wanted the crisis. They even stopped the funding for "more beds and food and medical supplies" for the children. That was in he President's negotiations with the Dems and they walked out and refused the funding.
Third, Joe Biden says "hey, man" slang that the Beat Generation and Hippies stopped using long ago. Very few leftover hippies say to the gas station cashier "Like,man, that's outtasight, man." Biden is sounding old and ridiculous.
Yeah Biden, how DO you say that? Millions of unborn babies would like to know the answer to that question.
Buy it's ok to say - "well sadly, you are a citizen so I am going to let you die."
Your rhetorical question demonstrates, of course, the easiest solution.
But to give the leftist "one-world" Plugs' a basic understanding:
A sensible government is run by citizens who are dedicated to protecting the nation's citizens and their hard-earned assets, or they wouldn't have been elected in the first place.
Enforced borders are an effective means of protection against illegal aliens who by definition threaten both the citizen and their assets.
Any illegal entrant already within should be promptly removed without support or aid, other than lifesaving medical attention, and any who pay them for work should suffer heavy fines or jail.
I don’t think that means what you think it means ...

Bingo. Or, if that becomes too expensive or problematic then to the other side of the last border they crossed. Such might encourage those nations to duly enforce their borders.

Dear Shotgun Joe Biden the Groping Pedo, we already treat everyone that walks into an Emergency Room whether they have the means to pay or not, even Illegal Invaders.
It’s been the Law for years.
He must think we keep them in Chains too.

And they need to remind how they're going to force the American taxpayer to pay for this at every opportunity.

The only thing consistent about Democrats is inconsistency.
The easier method would be to deny them anything at all but maybe water and a sammich and say “there’s the border, go home” - but no doubt they’d just wander all over the place messing it up then moving on to somewhere else like LA maybe?
Why is that any harder than saying "You're a fetus, I'm gonna let you die, man" or "You're old and feeble, I'm gonna let you die, man" or the (coming soon) "You're a Christian and a homophobe, I'm gonna let you die, man"
Render aid when needed and then quickly remove them to their own country.
