Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-N.Y.) hit back at House Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-Calif.) over Twitter on Saturday night after Pelosi knocked the freshman lawmaker for not voting with moderate Democrats on a spending package passed by Congress last week.
Earlier on Saturday, Pelosi took aim at progressive congresswomen Ocasio-Cortez (N.Y.), Ilhan Omar (D-Minn.), Rashida Tlaib (D-Mich.) and Ayanna Pressley (D-Mass.) after the four voted against a $4.6 billion spending package recently passed by Congress that sought to remedy issues at the southern border.
In an interview with the The New York Times, Pelosi said she believed the four lawmakers made themselves irrelevant by voting against what she referred to as “our bill," which passed in a 305-102 vote with 91 other Democrats also voting against it.
“All these people have their public whatever and their Twitter world,” she added. “But they didn’t have any following. They’re four people and that’s how many votes they got.”
In response, Ocasio-Cortez said on Twitter: “That public “whatever” is called public sentiment. And wielding the power to shift it is how we actually achieve meaningful change in this country.”
In a second tweet, Ocasio-Cortez said she did not believe "it was a good idea for Dems to blindly trust the Trump admin when so many kids have died in their custody."
“It’s a huge mistake," she added. "This admin also refuses to hand over docs to Congress on the whereabouts of families. People’s lives are getting bargained, & for what?”
So many kids? How many?

Perhaps freshman house members who are against her have a surprise coming.

One option would be to call “a guy” who was in Pelosi’s father’s Mafia circle in Joisey.
There will come a time where some will wish for the days of Pelosi because these insane younger political sh*ts are absolutely insane.
Pelosi is trying to have it both ways. She uses them like her little puppy dogs with their daily yapping. If she squashes them, it will cause a rift in the dems party before the election. The bad news for pelosi is they are leaking votes with these radicals in the media everyday and she won’t or can’t do anything about it. She should be trying to primary the muslims for next year.
She should have squashed AOC when she caused Amazon to walk with the 28,000 jobs. And Omar should be investigated for tax and immigration fraud and Pelosi should support the investigation.
It could lead to a fight for power between the old guard and the radical communist.
Even their base will be forced to pick a side.

So let me get this straight. Cortez voted against fixing the overcrowding in the centers, and then goes to the border and blasts Trump for not spending more money on the centers? Who is this idiot?
