HARRISBURG, Pa. (AP) A Pennsylvania state lawmaker is facing child pornography possession charges after authorities say a social media website told them the user had uploaded an image using their service. The state attorney generals office said Sen. Mike Folmer was arrested and charged Tuesday night.
Investigators allegedly found images of child pornography on Folmers cell phone when they executed a search warrant at his house in Lebanon County.

Must not of been a Rep, because it wasn’t mentioned.
Republican, I checked.
I thought the same thing he must be a democrat okay now I’ll go read the story and see if we were right.
darn I was wrong. Better check that premise
There’s republicans, democrats and politicians. Politicians never surprise me, no matter what they do.
Well, wonders never cease.
The article did mention that.
There are some sick, bad people from all walks of life who do bad things.
Aw, even a blind squirrel gets a nut once in a while.
It wasn’t in the headline, which is what you expect if it’s a repub.
The 63-year-old Republican was elected to a fourth term in November
What kind of sick puppy get his jollies looking at naked kids?
Why don’t these deviates retire quietly before they get caught? Why would they run for public office in the first place? I don’t get this attitude. If I had such a horrible and disgusting secret, I’d keep to myself and lay low as much as possible. I don’t get it.
Under statute “Child Pornography” can be rather broad I wish such articles would mention if the children involved are over or under 16. Either way the guy is toast.
Since a social media website was involved I do have to wonder if it is possible his account was hacked. (A new kind of doxxing.) It seems odd he would take such a risk. But certainly not improbable.
They are everywhere. . .everywhere! We are more than “slouching toward Gomorrah”!
Ever wonder why otherwise “reliable” conservatives suddenly vote the opposite of their supposedly staunchly-held core values...?
One thing that’s increasingly true with politicians at all levels is that they are inherently flawed human beings and the degree to which they are flawed is directly proportional to the level of government in which they operate. How else do financiers/bundlers willing to raise and contribute hundreds of thousands (or millions) of dollars to a campaign for a job that pays only a fraction of that amount ensure their reliability on critical votes? Now you know.
I have a couple of friends who have either served in Congress or been asked to run and, to a person - no matter the state, they have made statements that reinforce the above contention.
He needs to go full Budd Dwyer.
How I’d love to see an AG who would go after every pedophile in DC, regardless of party.
