As he stood on the Senate floor at 4 p.m. Wednesday, Rep. Jerry Nadler declared that he and his colleagues “will now attempt to tell you the story” behind their impeachment charges. Immediately, hearts sank and televisions went dark across America.
It was only Day Two of the Senate trial and already Democrats were repeating themselves. In fact, they were repeating their repetitions. What’s left to say?
Not much, but that won’t stop them from saying it. Again and again and again.

Nadler’s turn to put his audience to sleep followed three painful hours of listening to Rep. Adam Schiff plowing the same ground repeatedly, which followed more than six hours of similar arguments Tuesday. And under Senate rules, they still had 21 hours to go!
Their overkill oughta be an impeachable offense. And isn’t torture prohibited by the Geneva Convention?

LOL, it IS torture. Fortunately Schumer and his DemocRATS are the ones forced to silently suffer it. Unfortunately, the Republican Senators also have to sit through it.
The good thing is that the public isn’t forced t view it. Since I’m home this week, I took the opportunity to watch some Australian Open along with some “Doctor Pol” and “Carbonaro Effect”.
Go line up forty folks over the age of seventy, and tell them to stay focused on some TV show for 8 hours, and the show only starts at noon, and you won’t be in bed until 11:30 PM each night. After ten days of this...most will refuse to participate anymore.
I’ll go ahead and predict that peak interest in the public occurs between Tuesday and Friday of next week, with the news folks totally shocked at the boredom factor. The only reason the Clinton impeachment went on and on....was the sexuality of Bill’s affair, and the old guys in the chamber wanting more juicy details of the intern.
Schiff and team delivering anything better? No.
I will wait until PDJT's team has their say and if witnesses are called.

I haven’t watched a minute of this farce. I am completely disinterested. There is no there there. The Senate won’t convict. It is a joke. The tiny few times I have stumbled across news or Fox on TV, somebody is taking this thing as if it is serious. I can’t take it seriously. I am just glad the Democrats are comitting political suidice and will hand the House back to Trump in 2020. Then he will have the entire legislature once more. I hope they give him a lot more than under the last time.
I won’t watch a minute of this impeachment joke.
I, for one, am decidedly pleased with how the Democrats are approaching the impeachment issue. It has given me a chance to catch up on my neglected reading.

Adam 2 is on at 4 pm and CHiPs is on at 5. Far better entertainment.
Schiff repeated himself about 4 times over in his opening babble - had to try to firmly embed each major lie in the viewer’s heads - but the viewers got so bore they fuzzed out or hit other stations...
Best thing the Republican managers can do it spend Saturday and Sunday presenting constitutional material and on Monday show a video of Joe Biden’s corruption and then call for a vote to dismiss based on lack of evidence and the Democrats didn’t make their case.
Let it be over with at that point.
