One of these Bloomie canvassers rang my doorbell on Monday of this week, day before SuperTues in CA. Scrawny, goateed pajama boy type. Guy said, “Hi, I’d like to give you some information about Mike Bloomberg.” I said, “Sorry, I’m not voting for Bloomberg.” He says, “No worries, dude. You have a great one.” From his demeanor and appearance, I feel fairly confident that this fellow was in no way himself a Bloomberg supporter or true believer. He couldn’t have cared less whether I or anyone voted for Bloomie. Simply a young guy picking up some scratch for weed and burritos from a rich fool spending his fortune like a drunken sailor.

You cannot parachute into any business, political or otherwise, simply open the financial spigots and expect anything other than waste and fraud. The last two weeks of his campaign the ads were somewhat better, but from his first TV ad until then, I was saying that his marketing people were ripping him off; that until the end when the ads said “Paid for by Mike Bloomberg”, the ads looked and sounded like they were made by his opponents. Totally tone deaf, completely out of touch with most democrats, much less sane-ish centrists and NeverTrump republicans.
