Covid Nazi: Costco turning tyrannical
Citizen Free Press ^ | 5.19.20

We need to proactively reach out to these companies that are allowing this behavior and tell them it is NOT acceptable. I just left a message for the CFO of Costco and I highly recommend you all do the same.

The forcing of masks on us like we're sheep is completely unacceptable and if we don't step to the plate and push back on this they won't stop.

They will write back and say, “Sorry to lose you.”

93000 dead. Since Feb 29.

Given what we know now about hospitals/doctors padding the numbers by misdiagnosing COVID as the cause of death, why do you believe that number is accurate?

If it’s concealed properly, they won’t know.

Last time I was there (pre-mask) I saw a woman open carrying. Her gun was pink and blended well with her outfit and no-one else seemed to notice.

If you’re concealed how are they going to know you’re carrying?

What’s the worst they can do, ask you to leave?

Does your state have a “posted” exception for private property?

While at Home Depot, I pull my mask down in solidarity of those not using one, yet will put it up if in a populated aisle. Droplets while talking (and I hate to admit a little spit might come out on some consonants) is probably a reasonable concern. I figure if I’m breathing through my nose I’m not endangering anyone, so sometimes just cover my mouth.

When at first they said masks wouldn’t help, I admit I thought this was going to get bad. Thinking it was totally airborne, I feared hospitals having to put everyone in negative-pressure rooms. The fact this was to only protect mask supply enrages me. Right from the start they should have said a simple bandana will prevent casual transmission through droplets. N95 masks are appropriate for medical workers swimming in clusters of floating virus, but any cloth will stop spit. I’m guessing surgeons’ masks solely protect from bodily fluids going in either direction during surgery.

Hey, since some others have mentioned disgust for how easily we accepted the moniker “Social Distancing” how about we call it DD for “Droplet distancing”. It is technically acceptable and I recoil at government-issued weaselly phrases.

“93000 dead. Since Feb 29.

It’s NOT the flu bro.”

Numbers are totally unreliable and even Birx claims the CDC numbers are 25% high and besides that who really knows how many deaths are caused by the China Virus since so many are said to be without any proof the virus was the cause.

well if it is t one. it’s johnny on another thread. Masks do nothing to prevent the spread of covid particularly home made masks that do not fit and are not worn appropriately. They are highly effective at identifying virtue signaling snobs though

BTW, I just parted ways with my church temporarily over this. They are welcoming everyone back starting next week but you have to wear a mask and social distance. I played bass in the worship team, taught some sunday school and participated in jail ministry. I told them I’ll be back when they no longer require masks.

I’m actually doing it for them. I abhor the whole mask nonsense and consider it MSM conditioning. If I was in Sunday school or service, all I would be thinking about is how everyone is being brainwashed. I would be angry and I would be losing respect for the other members by the minute. We are told to not be contentious in church so, for me, it means I can’t go as long as masks are required.

I've read enough of your posts to believe you to be a kind and gentle soul. So I say this with all humility and gentleness as this forum permits and with full knowledge that I'm pointing plenty of fingers back at myself when I say this:

Why are you withholding your gifts of service from your church and Christs body? Who are you serving, Christ or yourself? I've made this same mistake and regretted it deeply. It's not about us, it's about our risen Savior. I beg you not to give in to the spiritual warfare you're under.

Peace to you.

That number is a lie and is off by at least a third due to dishonest counting for political and financial reasons.

I disagree with the policy, but they’re a private company and can set rules as they see fit.

“ignorant dumbasses into Costco without facemask”

Not ignorance. Just not into virtue signalling. As for Costco, they can do what they want. I avoid them now, as does my sister.

“Give me liberty or give me DEATH!”

“you pays your money and you takes your chances”

ENOUGH of this SHITE!

The hospitals were NOT overwhelmed. We flattened the curve. We killed off a lot of old people in nursing homes (even Cuomo can’t kill them twice). We have oodles of PPE. We have various treatments, And if I NEVER hear the word ventilator again, it will be too soon.

The DATA is in! WE WERE HAD! The models were WRONG! Lock downs saved NO ONE (especially in nursing homes). Now lock downs are KILLING US! Suicides, drug addiction, depression, CANCELLED chemo treatments, cancer screenings, immunizations, physical exams for a plethora of ailments some life threatening, non essential surgeries for tumors, liver/organ transplants etc, etc, etc.

AND the MOST LIKELY place to catch COVID-19 is indoors, at home, in lock down, with family members. DON’T go to the beach where the likely hood of catching it are about ZERO. No, stay home, locked down with family members, where you are MOST LIKELY to get it!

COVID-19 is no worse (maybe less worse, certainly less worse for children) than the flu! With the exception of the elderly who we CHOSE not to protect.

EVERY YEAR 30-50 thousand Americans die from the flu. EVERY YEAR about an ADDITIONAL 50 thousand Americans die from non-related to the flu, pneumonia.

Do I even have to say it? Mostly the ELDERLY. The closer you are to the cliff, the more likely you are to fall off.

As long as COSTCO is essentially a “private club”, they are FREE TO DISCRIMINATE for any/all reasons, including requiring masks (and/or requiring all members to have PURPLE hair) to enter their PRIVATE premises.

That said, I will NOT be renewing my COSTCO membership in June 2020, as I believe that their policy on “masking” is BRAINLESS & SILLY in the extreme for healthy members.
(Fwiw, I’m a graduate of the USA’s INFECTION CONTROL SCHOOL & believe that “the COVID19 frenzy” is VASTLY OVERBLOWN by the socialist left & their allies in the so-called “mainstream media”.)

Further, there is NO valid reason to essentially quarantine the healthy people of society, rather than quarantining ONLY the sick members of society, given that less than 1% of Americans will ever be sick enough to seek professional medical care.
(I suggest that anyone who believes that I’m wrong, look at the actual experience of SWEDEN, which has about the same percentage of persons, who have been treated by physicians and/or died of the illness BUT has NOT reacted with PANIC to a disease that is likely NO MORE dangerous to otherwise healthy persons than the Winter flu is.)

SORRY “Henny Penny”, I’m too old of a bunny at 73YO to believe that the sky is falling.

Yours, TMN78247.

"Then all those doctors and nurses in hospital operating rooms must feel pretty dumb."
I had no idea that Coscto is now performing medical operations in their stores. How much for an appendectomy?

Yet the argument was about the efficacy of masks. You have not countered those claims with facts. If you need help, the facts are posted for you on comment #57 by Wonder Warthog. It is obvious to readers who is in error, yet you continue your mocking without a factual basis for your claims.
Maybe it's time to get your foot out of your mouth.

What law of aerodynamics did that microdroplet or airborne virus particle study to deposit itself on the mask media instead of follow the path of lower resistance around the mask?

A sense of virus altruism?

I have worked in an industry for 30 years that involves protection from airborne particulate material. Surgical wal-mart style cotton masks are not allowed on site. Full face respirators with a semi-rigid seal that can pass a quantitative fit test and a negative pressure test, do work.

You are fooling yourself if you think a cotton sheet mask works in any real sense except security theater. Go buy some more toilet paper.

Yeah I get stressed over the pants thing. Every day I gotta put these things on just to go outside! Or answer the door!

Used to live where it was very warm and humid every day of the year so I took to wearing shorts all the time - but no underwear ever. Gives you a breezy feeling...

The primary reason masks do nothing at all for nearly everyone who wears them during this Chinese virus is because, unlike in an operating room or other professional setting where PPE is required the doctors and nurses are trained -- comprehensively and repeatedly so -- in how to select, apply/fit test, wear and maintain a mask. The way most everyone else wears a mask -- besides to hide their identity which is dehumanizing and rude as well as very anti-social -- does literally nothing to protect them from getting the virus and may, in fact, increase their chances of doing so. And without wearing fitted goggles the eyes -- also a pathway for the virus -- are completely unprotected.

As to transmitting the virus -- "committing murder" in the minds of the ignorant -- a mask, the way most people select, apply/fit test, wear and maintain it (a scarf isn't even worth mentioning) works no better than a handkerchief or an arm. A person who has symptoms of a cold, flu or virus -- coughing, sneezing, etc. -- must not pretend a that a mask will protect everyone around them -- even with 12-foot diameter anti-social "distancing" -- they should stay the hell home!

So you can buy into both the fiction that masks and anti-social distancing will save you from the virus or from "murdering" anyone you come within two yards of, and you can do business with companies that demand you go through the motions of pretending you're "doing something" to "fight the virus" because "we're all in this together" cDoncha know! ... just do so with the understanding of how ineffective and how despicably anti-social this growing fad is -- even as the Chinese virus wanes.

I have a Costco membership, I am NOT renewing it in June. I’m not impressed with the store at all and now that they require me to wear a mask to go in, I won’t go. Sam’s has more to offer and while they do the distancing thing, they don’t require masks or get all Nazi about it.
