All Pa. counties will be lifted from stay-at-home order by June 5: sources

In a call with reporters Thursday, Wolf said his administration planned to announce “a whole range” of counties would move to the yellow phase. He also hinted that he may announce some counties will move to the “green” phase, or the final phase of reopening under which there are no restrictions on which establishments can and can’t be open, but social-distancing guidelines and other safety precautions remain in place.

The administration had established metrics to determine when counties would move from the red to the yellow phase, and the administration did so largely by region. Among those metrics were testing capacity and hospitalization rates, as well as a requirement that counties report fewer than 50 new cases per 100,000 residents over the course of 14 days, a mark no county in the southeastern part of the commonwealth has reached yet.

The county farthest from reaching that metric is Delaware, which has the highest per capita case rate of all counties in the Philadelphia region, according to state data.

But leaders in some counties, Bucks in particular, have been bullish on moving to the yellow phase and have pushed the administration to provide a timeline to do so. Asked Friday about the governor’s plan to move all counties to yellow by June 5, Bucks County Commissioner Diane Ellis-Marseglia said commissioners were “hopeful” that would be the case.

While Republicans in the General Assembly have for months pressured the administration to reopen parts of the economy more quickly, Democrats in southeastern Pennsylvania have also over the past week increased pressure on Wolf to communicate ways their counties could move to the yellow phase.

Other officials have pressured the administration to change its reopening metrics and count coronavirus cases in long-term care facilities as separate from other confirmed cases.

“We have been pleading with Harrisburg" to consider a different metric for southeastern Pennsylvania, Delaware County Council Chairman Brian Zidek told residents late Wednesday in a video, and “Harrisburg, I think, is listening.”

Earlier Friday, 12 counties entered the yellow phase: Adams, Beaver, Carbon, Columbia, Cumberland, Juniata, Mifflin, Perry, Susquehanna, Wyoming, Wayne and York.

I live in Chester County, two traffic lights north of Delaware County.
It’s time to open. If you’re old, sick, or just a coward, stay home.

I don't know if Zidek is a RINO or not, but he certainly a pussy. You do not plead with Rats. You tell them what you are going to do, and then you do it.

We have been on lockdown since the middle of March. They originally told us it would be for ONLY two weeks so as not to overwhelm hospitals and/or flatten the curve.

Here we are close to June and we are STILL freaking on lockdown. Total Insanity!

Wolf must be feeling the heat because he is handing the election to Trump.

I’m in Montgomery County, a long rectangular county that borders Philadelphia county, which is where the cases occurred. We are 45 minutes away from that area but have been on lockdown since the beginning.

We are NOT “all in this together”. (the stupidest damn cliche to come out of this whole mess)

Yellow isn’t much better than red, but if this is true, it is progress.

But I don’t trust Tommie The Commie. It wouldn’t surprise me if a sudden spike in cases magically appears on June 4th.

This PA resident 'lifted' Stasi Wolf's 'stay at home' order approximately one nanosecond after the statist maggot imposed it.

Wolf must be feeling the heat because he is handing the election to Trump.

His phone had to be ringing off the hook with Democrat paid consultants SCREAMING at him after the Dems lost those special elections.

My mother died alone in a Locked Down Nursing Home, Neshaminy Manor - Doylestown PA - Bucks County of COVID 19.

She was COVID-19 Free om March 10 when the facility was locked down and asked for no visitation. On April 20 we were told she “had a fever” and was not eating or drinking. On April 21 we were told the end was soon. We asked about seeing her and were dissuaded after hearing the process and PPE required. She was not conscious and would not recognize us if we went. On April 22 she passed.

Between 3/10 and 4/22 are 43 days. My mother followed the rules and was confined to her room for 43 days. LITERALLY COVID-19 was BROUGHT TO HER.

Wolf and Levine DID NOTHING to really protect the Nursing homes in PA.

My Mom was one of the first. Here is the official update:

Coronavirus (COVID-19) Update:
In the spirit of federal transparency guidelines issued recently, Neshaminy Manor will issue a weekly update on residents and staff affected by COVID-19.

Update as of 05/20/20

•Number of confirmed in-house positive cases of Covid-19: Patients: 94, 1 in Hospital.
•Patients recovered: 54 (currently 5 results are PENDING)
•Staff testing positive: 63 of which 54 have recovered; the rest are still being followed by Bucks County health department.
•To date we are sad to report that 39 residents testing positive for Covid-19 have died. That number is not included in the above totals.
