This isnt an intellectual debate. This isnt about ideology. The proof is right in front of our eyes. The impacts of climate change simply cannot be denied.@NBCNightlyNews pic.twitter.com/gohbZ67Fyb— Gavin Newsom (@GavinNewsom) September 12, 2020
I think a DNA test should be required to see if these people are totally human . . .even the governor. It is evident that evil has taken hold in their bodies.
The mans name isnt by any chance Climate Change, is it?
Anyone have any idea how much CO2 the left has dumped into the environment from all these fires they have started? Now they can blame themselves for global warming.
Did the judge remember to admonish him not to start any more fires while he was awaiting his trial?
Oh, let me guess... His name was ‘Climate Change’?
Notice he’s being charged with “reckless burning” !!!!! Isn’t that what you get charged with for accidentally starting a fire via carelessness, or like having too big of a burn pile? Someone know specifically?
At first anyone daring to point the possibility of the BLM/Antifa thugs starting any fires, was immediately put down by most of the media mediots in Oregone/California.
Now, they are evolving to this point!

ALBANY, Ore. - Firefighters and deputies responded to 8 small fires early Monday morning in Linn County.
Sheriff Jim Yon said “deputies are investigating several suspicious fires that began early this morning at 2:41 a.m.”
“Deputies and fire personnel responded to eight different small fires in the areas of Scott Mountain Road west of Sweet Home, Whiskey Butte Drive east of Sweet Home and Washburn Heights Drive outside of Brownsville,” the sheriff’s office said. “All the fires occurred within a two-hour period.”
The sheriff said a small white or silver 1990s Nissan pickup with a black canopy was seen in the area of one of the fires.
“This is a vehicle of interest and we are actively looking for it,” Sheriff Yon said.
Anyone with information is asked to call (541) 812-2260.
(Posted elsewhere earlier today. It can’t be true that of all the hundreds of GOP campaign operatives, no-one has looked up the actual data to fling back in the Dem science deniers’ faces.)
There seems to be some activist and political hysteria taking advantage of the terrible and deadly west coast wildfires, attributing them to global warming rather than local effects. It may interest you to know that the US National Interagency Fire Center (NIFC; https://www.nifc.gov/fireInfo/fireInfo_stats_totalFires.html ) has been tracking the number and total acreage burnt of US fires since 1926. The number of fires, as well as the total acreage burnt, were far higher prior to 1955, peaking (surprise) in the 1930s at FIVE TIMES current average values 20 million hectares were burnt in 1930. Fires reached a low in the 70s and 80s, which presumably is where activists start their own trendlines.
NASA also supports the lack of a clear link between global prevalence of wildfires and CO2 changes. NASA has released a long term study (https://earthobservatory.nasa.gov/images/145421/building-a-long-term-record-of-fire ) which showed that, in terms of global burnt area, there has been “...a decrease in the total number of square kilometers burned each year. Between 2003 and 2019, that number has dropped by roughly 25 percent.”
The original paper about this work appeared in the prestigious journal Science (N. Andela et al., “A human-driven decline in global burnt area” Science, 356 p 1356-1362 (2017)), and can be downloaded for free if of interest.
As with our recent fires in Australia, local factors such as a drought, arson, poor forest management, widespread planting last century of flammable eucalypts (are you nuts!), undergrowth buildup due to green activist campaigns against burnoffs, more people living in dense forest, etc are responsible.
If only Presidential candidates could believe the science, rather than activist slogans based on zero evidence.”
