Gov. Kay Ivey has extended Alabama’s coronavirus mask order requirement into the new year.

The state’s current “Safer at Home” order has been extended until Jan. 22 at 5 p.m. The order requires masks to be work in public places when people are interacting within 6 feet of people from another household. Masks are also required in schools and colleges for grades second and above.

“None of this is easy,” Ivey said. “I cannot think the people of Alabama enough for the sacrifices they are making.”

Global reset is happening right before our eyes.

Sure is. And yet we get the constant rhetoric of business-as-usual from the people we selected to lead us.

I quit wearing the things. I had one on, was standing in line for a refill and the next thing I knew the ambulance crew was checking me out. I passed out and had a knot on my head. Then I was getting ready to turn my ballot in and passed out again. My head is hard but not that hard. Those things do not like me. At all!

This is getting absurd. I see fewer and fewer people wearing them around here. Nobody pays attention to those ‘social distancing’ dots on the floor. And I’m tired of talking to someone hiding behind a salad bar sneeze guard at the register.

Let me remind everyone that scientifically we got out of pandemic status the first week of April when the number of survivors catapulted while the number of deaths barely moved as proved by the graph noting it all.

But when did the mask orders and the lockdowns begin? The very moment we officially got out of pandemic status.

Anybody want to surmise why we are being gaslit? Could it be that we are having an agenda forced on us for nefarious reasons?

Up until this cold spell, I did not wear a mask. I don’t wear a mask indoors unless I have to interact with someone who is wearing their own mask.

But, I need to breathe warm air. So, I’ve begun wearing two masks at a time outdoors. Also, because I’m receiving some IV meds, I’ll wear a mask at the infusion center. They yell at me if I don’t.

I am willing to help organize an impeachment. I am not a lawyer. I trained as a music ed person and have become a missionary. But, I can help. What shall we do?

It appears to be getting bad down here in alabama from talking to folks and seeing personally all the cases. Worse than before.

I think masks contribute to the spread!

I wonder how many people who feel bad and would ordinarily stay at home go out wearing a mask because the powers that be have told them that masks work and by wearing one they can’t infect anyone else.

Most people getting the virus are wearing masks. This is a fact, because most people are. Often you hear ‘they only took it off for...’ but considering how people, trying their best, touch it while wearing it and handle it daily, it’s no wonder. Sadly, people want to make sufferers morally responsible for their exposure.

Ditto...masks are filthy, unwashed petri dishes...I shop off-hours so I can avoid as many of these 'Typhoid Karens' as possible.

Remember, the governor is a member of the demographic most likely to die from Covid-19...

Pretty much the ONLY demographic to die from COVID.

Yep, remember when heat and humidity would kill off the virus? July and August were very hot here this year. And still we have the stupid mask rules.

I don't wear one at all.

Back in April, when the mask thing came to prominence, I went to the dermatologist for a consult. I walked into the waiting room at 1:30 pm and the room which could hold at least 100 was completely empty except for me.

I walked up to the receptionist desk and got the clipboard and pen. The receptionist asked me how I got in the building without a warning about not wearing a mask. I looked at her absolutely puzzled. She handed me a mask with her bare hand. From my nurses training that is a HUGE NO-NO.

I took the clipboard and the pen and the mask and went to sit down. Within 5 minutes I had 3 nurses screaming at me to put on the mask. The nurse who screamed at me the loudest pissed me off so much I got up and walked over to the receptionist and handed her back the stuff. As I turned the real screamy nurse yelled at the receptionist: "DO NOT TOUCH THAT!!" As if I was infected with the Bubonic plague.

That incident cured me of ever wanting to put a mask on my face. And, what those nurses did was to prevent their boss from getting about $7,000 from me.

I’ve attempted to forward our governor via twitter articles that folks like Rep. Andy Biggs have posted outlining the dangers of wearing masks. They won’t post on her “page” or deliver to her!

The numbers, probably inflated, have grown. I know that the Gadsden hospital has had to change things around, move departments, floors, etc., to put so-called Covit cases in the hospital. Lady who works at the grocery store told me her husband works at the Gadsden hospital and that they have been working late to change things around to handle the Covit patients. Said they had no particular floor to handle something like this and is having to change things around to make an area for these cases. With all these cases of the numbers being inflated, etc., who the heck knows what is going on. We have had a couple of people in our community die of the Covit, so we are told. Not any real life ailments that were known of that they could have died of and they used Covit as the problem. But, that is what they are saying they died of.
