Former Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin hinted at a potential Senate bid in the 2022 midterm elections to challenge Sen. Lisa Murkowski, the Alaska Republican who was one of a handful of GOP senators who voted to impeach former President Donald Trump after he left office.

Plus if she wins, this time Pallin won’t go AWOL for a job at Fox News - she wouldn’t be welcomed.
Having already witnesed another thread mentioning her potential run, the hate Palin mentality here runs deep amongst the political Puritans............
We're pretty much predictable when succumbing to the articles in the MSM and eating our own...........
The trouble is that Murkowski never had Republican support. She was elected by crossover Democrats, in the face of the pitifully weak Democrat candidate. So unless the legislature has changed the voting process against crossovers, as strong support as she can get from Republicans, Palin will still lose.
I’d like to discuss her options over dinner and some wine...
What??
That would border of apostasy or even blasphemy!!
Stop with the being coy. Either run for the seat or shut up.
Just stay retired from politics. Your time is over.
Agree 100%
Palin was 44 in 2008. Now, she’s 57. In the male mind, her looks ain’t what they used to be which will cost her some votes. I would still vote for her if I could. She’s a dependable conservative vote EVERY TIME!
Time to get the RINOs out of Congress! Run Palin Run!
Exactly right.
Sarah needs to piss or get off the pot when it comes to running for office again. She’s mentioned for many offices and builds the tension up and walks away.
I like Sarah and would easily vote for her but her shelf life is expiring as a viable candidate, run girl!!!
Remember something: Palin has name recognition that other candidates don’t have. She doesn’t need to get in right now.
She can get in in a couple of months and win. But she’ll have to work her a$$ off.
Alaska has a ranked choice voting system.
“In the open primary, all candidates, regardless of party affiliation, appear on one ballot. The top four vote-getters advance to the general. On the November ballot, voters will rank the candidates, one through four. If no candidate wins a majority in the first round, the last-place finisher would be eliminated, and their ballots re-allocated to the voters’ next-choice candidate, until one wins a majority.” - alaskapublic.org
So the top 4 candidates will be Palin, Tshibaka, some loser Democrat, & Murkowski.
Palin becomes a spoiler in the November general election, syphoning off votes from very popular conservative Kelly Tshibaka (endorsed by Trump), denying her a majority vote, Murkowski runs as an independent, backed by Democrats & the elite, & wins on the second choice votes of the minority Democrats. Being the grateful elitist that she is, she just might switch parties to the Democrats.
We need to see new, fresh faces in the Republican party. IMO, Palin has too much baggage, both personally & politically.
Think it will hit that number? I’ll give it a bump.
