On Tuesday, Secretary of Defense Lloyd Austin refused to appear and testify before the Senate Foreign Relations Committee about the disastrous U.S. withdrawal from Afghanistan, prompting the committee’s chair, New Jersey Democrat Senator Robert Menendez, to blast him for his non-appearance and threaten to subpoena Austin if he refused to testify in the near future.
Hahahahahahahahahah sure that’ll work.
Sure, set the Biden Justice Department on him. That’ll larn him.
Put yourself in Austin’s shoes. Austin and the generals, with the CIA...met with Biden/Blinken in the spring. They laid out ‘plans’ (CIA and DoD apparently agreed on things). Biden said ‘no plans’ and the meeting concluded.
If asked direct questions, how can Austin respond?
What’s curious here is that the key person for the Biden team (arranging strategy) is Susan Rice....she wasn’t at this meeting.
I noticed O’Reilly interviewed some former Trump official yesterday, who suggested that virtually all Biden strategy/policy is Rice-driven. It might be interesting to ask Austin his gut-feeling over Rice and if she’s the cause of the fiasco.
I would add...just seems to be this funny smell over Afghanistan and how it fits the Benghazi profile.
We now learn that the Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff treasonously communicated with his Chinese counterpart in defiance of the Commander-in-Chief Trump.
No wonder Austin wants to lay low.

HOW do you KNOW Susan Rice was not in that meeting??? She could have been on a secure ZOOM type call.
Translation: Biden’s polls are in the toilet and it’s treatening the ability of congress to pass communism. Therefore a scapegoat must be found to pin it all on and then the media can spin it as over, make some fake polls saying Americans live Biden again and congress can go back to destroying America. Austin doesn’t want to be the guy the throw under the bus.
