Rep. Elise Stefanik (R-NY) asserted on Wednesday that House Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-CA) shared blame for the riot that occurred on January 6 at the U.S. Capitol.
Stefanik, who serves as House GOP Conference chair, released a statement on the eve of the Capitol breach’s anniversary, thanking law enforcement for their work to control the riotous behavior but condemning Pelosi for ultimately being the one “responsible” for leaving the Capitol prone to attack.
The New York Republican called it “unacceptable” that despite Pelosi’s nine-person investigatory committee — comprising seven Democrats and two of the most outspoken Never Trump Republicans in Congress, Reps. Liz Cheney (R-WY) and Adam Kinzinger (R-IL) — persisting with its probe into the riot, “one year later the American people still do not have answers as to why the Capitol was left so vulnerable.”
“Rather than focusing on improving the security of the Capitol and adopting all the recommendations from the U.S. Capitol Police, Nancy Pelosi and House Democrats are instead using their illegitimate partisan sham of a committee to shred Constitutional precedent and punish their political opponents,” Stefanik said in reference to the committee targeting former President Donald Trump and dozens of his closest allies with subpoenas.

Why doesn’t Pelosi testify? The Select Committee was selected to control the investigation and make sure certain people do not have to face the music.
Select Committee already knows the verdict. Trump guilty of being hated by the Select Committee.

A Select Committee appointed by Pelosi would never call Pelosi to testify. They are there to make sure certain things are not talked about or ever discussed. They are not there as a Select Committee to be fair and just.
Why do these people never talk about how McConnell was right in there with Pelosi in refusing security?
She’s one of the few that continues to speak up!

I wrote to my own rep from Idaho and asked him that question. I asked him “Why aren’t you out there raising hell about what’s going on?” I checked the box “please respond,” but crickets so far. He had sent out one of those namby-pamby standard Congressional newsletter emails asking “What’s your most important topic” and telling us which committee he’s on and what legislation he cosponsored. YAWN! I want a FIRE BREATHER like one of these ladies to shake things up.

The Speaker made sure Rep. Jim Jordon would not be on the Select Committee. She only wanted Trump haters. In that way the Speaker can keep certain facts from coming forward. The left media will read talking points spoon fed.
So why don’t you primary him? Chances are you won’t win, but that’s not the point. The point is making sure that Accomplice party pols pay a large price for being accomplices to the Criminal party.
Yep. Elise Stefanik is a fighter. I’ve liked her ever since she carved up James Comey when he appeared before her in Congress. That video is well worth hunting down.
