Craig Shubert, the mayor of Hudson, Ohio, spoke out about the dangers of ice fishing at a city council meeting on Tuesday night. Specifically, how if you allow ice fishing in Hudson Springs Park this winter, then next year someone will expect to bring an ice shanty out on the lake. And from there? Well...
"And if you then allow ice fishing with shanties then that leads to another problem: prostitution. And now you've got the police chief and the police department involved. Just data points to consider."

Did you know that instead of the tried and true act of putting Peak EG coolant in the open hole to keep it from freezing over (!poisonous to fish!), you can just use semen to keep the water from freezing.

Create a shantytown of isolated, cold, lonely men, the mayor is right. Won’t be long before entrepreneurs of all sorts show up. Sure that as a Democrat his primary concern is to collect taxes on any activity or commerce that may occur on the ice.
