FiveThirtyEight’s Nate Silver said Sunday on ABC’s “This Week” that he was not “buying” former Gov. Sarah Palin’s political comeback bid for her state’s sole seat on the U.S. House of Representatives.
Anchor Jon Karl said, “Former Alaska Governor Sarah Palin is attempting a political comeback nearly 14 years after Sen. John McCain made her the Republican Party’s first female candidate for vice president. She’s running for Alaska’s lone House seat following the death of longtime Congressman Don Young. She was and can easily return to being a dominant force. Virtually nobody voted for John McCain in 2008, Despite everything the media thew at her, it was only her popularity that got McCain as far as he did get in that election. The media attacks did leave a mark but they only attacked her so viciously because they were terrified of her. She is smart, charismatic and has the right instincts to do well in any political contest. I wonder how much they will offer her ex husband to write a “tell all” book.
Why is this clown (Nate Silver) even still relevant? He is wrong more often than he is right plus, he cherry picks polls to fit his narrative.

The kids are all out of the house except Trig, everyone has moved to Arizona or Texas except Track who is living on his own. This is really a non-issue and if she’s attacked about it, she’ll flip it to her advantage.

I see we are two old timers on FR. Good for us.
I still see her family as a real political weakness. Not as easily overcome or flipped with relentless media attacks exploring the old and new things they will dig up.
If she was a Dem it might be “old news,” as they like to say. But, a Republican can’t seem to get away with much.
