White House officials and Democratic strategists are privately worrying about how Elon Musk’s $44 billion hostile takeover of Twitter will affect the 2024 presidential election — especially whether the billionaire will allow former President Donald Trump to return to the platform.
Officials within President Joe Biden’s administration are closely watching the deal, according to more than half a dozen advisors to Biden, including two administration officials. Some on Biden’s team are growing increasingly concerned the Tesla CEO will allow Trump and other Republican operatives who were banned from Twitter to return to the platform, these people said, asking not to be identified in order to speak freely about internal discussions among senior Democratic advisors.

The swine in the Biden admin are probably diligently looking for some kinds of lawsuits to charge Musk with. Dragging people into court with bogus charges for bogus crimes is what they do best to harass people who anger them.

Now, the question is whether Trump will return to Twitter.
There are numerous "town squares" including his own Truth Social, but like it or not, Twitter is the biggest. I get that he would also want to post on his own platform, because once he gets geared up on Truth Social, he's going to draw a lot of users.
To me, the answer is obvious. Post on both, but post different content. I also like the idea of locking down comments on his Twitter posts. Just drop bombs and walk away. If you want to engage with Trump, you have to get a Truth account.
I think that should Trump return, he should do so at the exact moment some major event is taking place... something that Democrats and RINOs would want there to be extreme media focus... and then just start tweeting. It would absolutely suck all the oxygen in media rooms.
If twitter doesn’t restore trump, then musk is another swamp rat.
Otoh, if Trump supports twitter, does he hurt Truth Social?
Perhap some are frightened by truth social and want to divert Trump from it.

Trump is in a tough spot because Twitter will be revitalized by Musk’s overhaul. He has to stick with his brand and it’s going to be a tough slog competing with Twitter.

I joined Rumble a year ago when I deleted my youtube account, but I have to say, Rumble is just nowhere near being a viable youtube replacement. It’s just inferior in every way, and it hasn’t gotten any better in a year.
