CNN anchor Chris Wallace said Friday on “New Day” that after the January 6, 2021 Capitol riot, it was apparent that some of former President Donald Trump’s supporters would hear a “call to arms” in his comments about the possibility he will be indicted.
Thursday on Hugh Hewitt’s nationally syndicated radio show, when asked about being indicted, Trump said, “I think if it happened, I think you’d have problems in this country the likes of which perhaps we’ve never seen before. I don’t think the people of the United States would stand for it.”

While it was an off the cuff response, it could be interpreted as a ‘call to arms’..... or it could just be a practical and honest view of what he thinks might happen when a well respected president is indicted on a bogus charge.

Hewitt: You know the old saying. A prosecutor can indict a ham sandwich if they want to. I’m just asking if there is such a prosecutor and they indict you, would that deter you from running for president again?
Trump: I don’t think the people of the United States would stand for it. And as you know, if a thing like that happened, I would have no prohibition against running. You know that. You’ve already stated that.
Hewitt: I do. That’s what I wanted people to understand. That would not take you out of the arena.

Hewitt: What kind of problems, Mr. President.

I didn’t hear that either, but most everyone knows damn well, the corrupt liars who’ve hijacked the government should be removed from office by force if necessary, then charged and prosecuted.
