Buffalo Bills safety Damar Hamlin had to be resuscitated twice after collapsing on the field during Monday night's game with the Bengals.
'His heart had went out so they had to resuscitate him twice. They resuscitated him on the field before they brought him to the hospital and then they resuscitated him a second time when they got him to the hospital,' Hamlin's uncle Dorrian Glenn told CNN.
'They sedated him just to give a better chance for him to just continue to heal better. We are just taking it day by day. It seems like he's trending upwards in a positive way,' Glenn explained.
'Right now they’ve got him on a ventilator. They are trying to get him to breathe on his own. He is still in ICU and sedated while they continue to administer medical treatment. I am thankful for the staff that have been working with him.'

That money is for the charity he started in 2020. Not for him..
It turns out this is so rare to happen in professional sports.
I believe that his heart was already in a bad way from the vaccine and the hit was more than it could take.
If they have to keep you on a vent for more than 48 hours, then the odds of ever breathing on your own again are drastically reduced.
**UPDATE: This fundraiser was initially established to support a toy drive for Damar’s community, sponsored by the Chasing M’s Foundation.
However, it has received renewed support in light of Damar’s current battle and we can’t thank all of you enough. Your generosity and compassion mean the world to us.
If you would like to show your support and contribute to Damar’s community initiatives and his current fight, this is the place to do so. This is the only current fund that is being used by the Hamlin Family.
Again, thank you for your thoughts, prayers and generous support during this time.
Damar created The Chasing M’s Foundation to use as a vehicle to bring lasting impact to his community. The foundation supports toy drives, back-to-school drives, kids camps, and more. UPDATE**
On September 6, 2021, my wife entered the hospital with Covid. On September 9th she went on a ventilator, and would remain so for 65 days. While on the ventilator she kept spiking a high fever. They did a cat scan and discovered that an abcess on her colon had ruptured, sending her into septic shock. She was at the edge of death, in a medically induced coma.I put my business on hold and spent hours every day sitting by her, holding her hand and praying. She gradually began to improve. On November 24th she left the hospital and spent the next 7 weeks in a skilled nursing facility. On January 11th of this year she finally came home, unable to stand up! She had a lot of physical therapy, hard work, and hundreds of people praying for her. A year later, she is walking, driving, exercising, and working. With God, all things are possible!
“I didn’t see the video of the hit and the aftermath, but apparently he fell straight backwards, meaning he would have hit the back of his head on the ground—”
Apparently? Who told you that BS?
I finally saw the play and didn’t see any massive hit to the chest.
They are running from full reporting of vaccination status like scalded dogs.
PTL … for your dear wife’s miraculous recovery.
Were any early treatments prescribed for her? Ivermectin, for example?
Thank you for sharing….and, witnessing, to God’s amazing grace and mercy.
It’s a sure bet that his playing days are over, unless it’s in the backyard with his toddler son.
And just try to suggest the vaxx even be investigated as a possible factor, to prevent another death or disabling in sports - you’ll be labeled a “monster”.
The psyops continues.
Thank you for sharing this story, and I am so glad to hear things have turned out so well.
While not as elongated or dire, my husband spent 8 days on a ventilator in April 2020, and ended up coming back to “normal” (his prior health status) within several months after some rehab and home therapy, etc.
Just saying I am not sure the posts about time on a ventilator are completely reliable.
"We're going to take that out of you."
So...he WAS dead...twice. And they brought him back. The original thread (that was locked after 250 comments) saying he died on the field WAS correct.
Ouderkirk nailed it.
The good news is...it could've been so much worse if he hadn't been vaxxed!
No Ivermectin. She just got great medical care and experienced God’s miracle healing power. She had double pneumonia twice while on the ventilator. She is a walking miracle! I’m so grateful to have the love of my life with me!
A cardiologist in the NY Times said anytime over 72 hours on a ventilator would be a bad sign & low chance for recovery.
Probably ALL several thousand NFL players are vaxxed.
How many had heart problems? Size matters.
Nope. The narrative is set and won’t change. It was not the jab.
I’m betting the organ transplant recipients are already lined up and waiting. That’s probably why they’re keeping him going.
Almost same experience with my wife 5 years ago. Through prayer and therapy she’s ok now!
Was your wife vaxxed and boosted?
Me and my wife both had 4 shots including boosters.
We both got infected within 1 day of each other, not knowing we had covid. The home test kit said we were both positive.
Our symptoms were similar, extreme weakness, loss of balance, fever, muscle and body aches and continuous coughing.
We had no ivermectin or paxlovid or any other meds at home. We just rested in bed, eating only home made chicken soup. Miraculously less than 2 days later, all symptoms suddenly disappeared! Only cough lingered for several days, but was less each day passing.
