Buffalo Bills safety Damar Hamlin had to be resuscitated twice after collapsing on the field during Monday night's game with the Bengals.

'His heart had went out so they had to resuscitate him twice. They resuscitated him on the field before they brought him to the hospital and then they resuscitated him a second time when they got him to the hospital,' Hamlin's uncle Dorrian Glenn told CNN.

'They sedated him just to give a better chance for him to just continue to heal better. We are just taking it day by day. It seems like he's trending upwards in a positive way,' Glenn explained.

'Right now they’ve got him on a ventilator. They are trying to get him to breathe on his own. He is still in ICU and sedated while they continue to administer medical treatment. I am thankful for the staff that have been working with him.'

I watched the video of Damar with the kids while they received their toys. Brought tears to my eyes. He is a truly loving, kind young man. Praying for his full recovery.

I am by no means an NFL guy. I bailed when the KNEELING started but I looked into this guy's background and his mission. What a GREAT kid.. He chose to stay with Buffalo Bills to be near his family. Here's a quote from Damar from Father's Day:

"Happy Father’s Day pops. You taught me a lot in life but something that will always stick with me is making sacrifices for the people you love. Whatever it takes For The Family."

Players gathered in prayer on the field was a watershed moment against the woke. The message was palpable. Prayers up for this young man.. GOD SPEED!

I could tell by the way he fell/landed, that he was dead before he hit the ground.

FWIW, There is some very interesting info at the link.
