The U.S. Navy has revealed that it approached a "drag queen influencer" to help persuade new recruits to join the military.
Yeoman 2nd Class Joshua Kelley, who goes by the stage name "Harpy Daniels," announced back in November 2022 that he was the Navy’s "Digital Ambassador." Kelley has over 1,300,000 likes on TikTok.
While Kelley’s Instagram bio shows that the performer’s opinions "are not endorsed by DoD or DoN," the drag queen claims to have danced in drag for service officers on a number of different occasions, sharing one video from 2018.

This is going to attract the wrong type of recruit, while causing real men who find this offensive to look at the other branches for military service.

I have a white male relative in the navy currently. He enlisted when Trump was president, he scored in the high 90’s on the ASVAB. He’s so discouraged with the navy at this point. Officers have lied to him repeatedly, told him he would be discharged because he filed a religious exemption to the covid vaccine, even gave him a date for an honorable discharge. He had another job lined up as well as his wife and had their house sold at the base. Three days before the date, denied continue your enlistment.
He doesn’t believe anything his officers or command tells him at this point. He has about a year left and there is no way in hell they could induce him to re-enlist, he has no faith in the navy at this point and wants out before a shooting war starts because he knows the current navy will take a lot of unnecessary casualties because of woke/progressive/Democrat/marxist doctrine being the navies primary goal instead of winning wars.
Even without the wokeness the Navy is designed to fight the last war instead of the next one.
The surface ships are sitting ducks given today’s technology—easy to spot and target.
That’s sad. I hope he can get through it and comes out better in the long run for his family.
I hope for our sakes that We the People can, with God’s grace, figure out how to defang and depose the Marxists in our country and government. With control over all the levers of power it seems like they’ve got us in a stranglehold, with only the grace of God restraining them. But I count on Him because too many times to mention He’s let the wicked overreach and be caught in the nets they have laid.
